I'm so sorry about what m_me and Pauline said for this album. But I don't think this album was that bad. m_me said that "i expected one or two good songs like her other album ai mei". I DO think that there are a few songs are as good as "Ai Mei" like "Guo Min", "Ke Ai" and "Zuo Bian". And she said "this one is bad it is filled with fast jumpy songs". I'm so sorry to hear about that. It's because there are just half of the songs, but not all of them are fast jumpy songs. And I want to ask one question, do you know what the lyrics of these songs are talking about? These songs are mainly about celebrating Rainie's success, changes and showing her style, Cutie. And I think a singer should be multi-stylish. I don't think singers should always singing upset and slow songs. For "didn't show improvement from her first solo album." I'm also very sorry to know that. Creating an album is NOT just the effort of a SINGER, but also the SONGS WRITERS. How can you blame Rainie for not improving herself? I'm just expressing my feelings but not with bad intension. I hope you don't mind it. ------------------------------------------ For Pauline's arguments, "But wow she fell into the very pitfall that makes me not like chinese music." I think it's a bit unfair. How can you say "that makes me not like chinese music"? I think you shouldn't regard all of the other Chinese songs as this manner just because of one album. There are MANY great Chinese songs, but you haven't discovered only. For "I was scared that since she was a actress-turned-singer". Oh, I'm so sorry to tell you that she was actually a singer-turned-actress. She was a member of the group "4 in Love" originally. For "his album shows her weaknesses." Could you please talk about what her weaknesses are? Because I can't find any weaknesses. For "I'm sorry but all these songs sound like the songs you hear at the Family fun Nights at the YMCA." and "They all sound like jumpy, happy songs." I'm also sorry to ask you that, have you ever listened the whole album? I don't think "Zuo Bian", "Zhao Bu Dao", "Ke Ai", "Shi Mian de Shui Mei Ren" nor "Guo Min" are suitable for Family fun nights. They're NOT Happy nor Jumpy. I think you should listen to the whole album again and you'll find these songs are so touching. And again, I don't think singers should always singing upset and slow songs. For "I just don't see any musical merit in this album". I'm very disappointed to hear that. I don't really like this album at first. But if you hear the songs again, you'll find them more touching. I'm just expressing my feelings but not with bad intension. I hope you don't mind it. |
