Both studying in the Army School,Hu Lunting and Bai Lede had a deep friendship,and swore to fight for the country.After graduation,Lunting became a guard in Guangdong,Lede stayed in Shanghai,and engaged himself to Lunting's sister Zhuli.A few months later,Lede went work to Guangdong also .Lede's uncle Shi was a officer there,whose daughter Luohua fell in love with Lunting and made a poem called〈Yi Jian Mei〉to show their love to each other.Another officer Diaoliao was the leader of one party who wanted to get Luohua also.Shi also agreed with Diao,but refused bu Luohua.Meanwhile Lede loved Luohua also.Lunting and Luohua thought Lede had a promise with Lizhu and asked Lede to help them .Lede sold them out and told Shi that Lunting and Luohua were going to elope.Lunting was drove out and became the leader of a group who robbed for the poor people,marked with a plum logo and called himself"Yi Jian Mei".Hearing the bad news ,Lizhu came to Guangdong and disguished as a man being assistant of Luohua.One day Luohua badgered Lede to tell the truth,Ledee was so angry that he wanted to outrage Luohua.At this moment Diao Liao came and beated Lede.When later,Lunting came and killed Diao.One year later,Lunting met Luohua finally.
