August 19, 2007 One of the best compilationsHonestly, this made a fan out of me. I love SOULHEAD now!! Every song is sheer brilliance and this is has been in my CD player for 2 weeks now. I can't get enough of it! Even though the PVs aren't heavy cheorography or anything like that, they're still entertaining and will have you singing and rapping along! This is one of the best compilations I've ever come across. I'd rank it up there higher than Koda Kumi's many "Best of" selections. Their collaboration with Kumi Koda did NOT display their talent as well as "SPARKLE TRAIN", "NO WAY", or "OH MY SISTER!"...these girls have it all. I love every song and all are distinct. I would not recommend this to pop-lovers or rockers. This is pure Hip Hop/Soul...the best of Urban music coming from Asians. They actually know how to do it unlike most wannabes who try too hard. This just comes natural for them. I didn't know they were so talented...and their voices are VERY impressive. Very wide vocal-range from these two beauties.
Tsugumi and Yoshika serve it up HOTT with "Best Of SOULHEAD"!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 26, 2007 Not too badI actually really like this CD and I don't agree with the first review for it. "Jump In! Let's Go!" is a great song and is really upbeat and happy. "PEACH:/LIME SHAKE" is also another fun & happy song. I also like the other tracks too.
Good first impression for first-time Hayami listeners =D give it a try!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 26, 2007 SILLY...but cuteLOL...leave it to Ai to do something this weird! This is supposed to be the debut single of her imaginary bunny, LOVE-chan. It's cute, but a CD+DVD is a bit too much for such a thing. Buy the "CD-only" to save some money you could use for Ai's "PEACH/HEART" CD+DVD. This is funny, but I think it shouldn't of had a DVD for it. The PV is slightly boring. The song, however, isn't half bad.
This is a joke just like Utada Hikaru's "Boku wa Kuma" CD+DVD single...but it's better, I'd say...so it's worthy of purchasing...just honestly, grab the "CD-only"...this was way overpriced for 2 tracks and a little music video.
Not too bad of a release, let's just hope there isn't a follow-up single.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 26, 2007 Best Summer Single '07Ai's is back! After Chu-Lip, I was worried about this single. However, I have heard both "HEART" and "PEACH"...I must say, I'm very impressed and reminded of earlier releases like "Frienger" and "Renai Shashin"! Her vocals are beautiful on the ballad especially. Both are sweet -n- happy songs and will put you in a summer mood. The upbeat track, especially, will have you cruising down the road at full speed on a sunny day while singing along.
Truly a memorable and original single from Miss Otsuka. Desperate for a unique sound? Pop this CD into your player and give it a try! I love both songs and I'm sure the PVs will both be promising as well. I rank this single a perfect 10; up there with her hit singles like "SMILY/Biidama" and "Neko ni Fuusen"! Truly astonishing. Ai has not lost her charm nor her creative ideas.
For first time Ai-listeners, let this be your first impression. For Ai-haters, listen to it...it's impossible to dislike!
I'd recommend this summer single over all others; there's no flaws whatsoever...it's just perfection.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 25, 2007 Typical Japanese voiceThere's nothing really outstanding about this girl. She has an extremely typical Japanese lil' voice and it's not really that good. It has NOTHING unique about it. I could be in Japan and hear her on the radio and wouldn't be able to tell her apart from most the girls that played previously! She's not really "cute" either...she's very plain and has an adult-looking face. She doesn't look right having such a little voice.
Anyway, if you want a typical Japanese singer, go for her.
If you want something unique, go for Ayumi Hamasaki or Namie Amuro.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 22, 2007 WONDERFUL!I've seen most all the performances from this concert and I must say that BoA has grown into an amazing performer. Her vocals are perfect and she doesn't lipsync once that I've seen! Her dancing is terrific, she's absolutely beautiful, her vocals are spot-on, the stage setup is the largest I've ever seen & it will take your breath away...it's just amazing! Only complaint is the audience is quite boring alot of the time XD they don't go "CRAZY!" like they do at an Ayumi Hamasaki or Kumi Koda concert...and BoA's wigs she wears are hideous and so are some of the outfits...but it's quite alright because BoA's performing skills makes this DVD a MUST-HAVE! If you buy the *first press* version, you'll be in for more of a treat, btw. =P It's not too much more, so be daring!
While I wouldn't say this is her best concert ("Love & Honesty" was better)...it is her 2'nd best and definitely a truly amazing thing to own! Preorder now! =D
Highlight performances include "Lady Galaxy", "STILL.", "Sweet Impact", and "SO REAL"!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 22, 2007 Masterpiece yet againAyu never really disappoints me so I think you all are trippin' if you don't think this is that good! XD
"glitter" isn't really my style, but it's very cute and very fun for Summer! =P Alot of Ayu-luvas with appreciate this.
"fated" is my favorite of the single and has alot of emotion. It's a gorgeous rock ballad and will definitely be one of my favorites of all-time.
Overall, I don't see the problem!!! Ayu is very talented and I think it's a great release from her after A BEST 2. I'll definitely be tuning in to see what else she has in store for us to come! n_nDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Lullaby For You (Japan Version)

June 22, 2007 Wonderful follow-upThis is a great continuation for JYONGRI after her debut album, "Close To Fantasy"! "Lullaby For You" and "Catch Me" are both great, but I have yet to hear the 2'nd B-side...I'm sure it'll be great though! The live version of "~Promise~" is amazing and I actually like it better than the original version...it's more intimate and sweet-sounding.
She looks gorgeous on the single, but she's too powdered up with makeup. She looks like a porcelian doll...but I guess that's the recording industry for you. Evidently, they're thinking her pretty face will get more sales. I don't complain much though, because she's actually very talented. =] I just perfer her looking more natural.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 21, 2007 Young sex symbol?I feel very sorry for Hayami because her record company is always exposing her and closing in on her belly. She looks like a kid! And she sounds like it too! However, single-wise, this is a good buy. I'm just disgusted at the cover. It's crap like this that make guys go pedo. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 21, 2007 Cute song, bad vocalsOkay...so this song is very cute, but her voice in this track isnt that great at all. Also, she went from this cutie image to a cool, sexy image so quickly that you wonder if she's just trying to sell. Very disappointed in her. Wouldn't recommend this. Buy 'Dessert Days' if you want a good first impression. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
See you Darling (Japan Version)

June 21, 2007 Namie Amuro wannabe? When I first saw Hayami Kishimoto, I thought she was kind of like an Ai Otsuka wannabe because alot of her music videos seemed like it. Then, I see her latest singles and I'm puzzled. It looks like she went from an Ai-wannabe to an Namie Amuro/semi-Kouda Kumi wannabe. It is like she changes her image with what is popular at the time. I actually greatly preferred the Ai-wannabe version of Hayami. While 'See You Darling' is actually a good song, I'm just still not into her. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 19, 2007 A look into BoA's lifeFirst of all, this DVD is REGION-FREE and NOT Region-3 like it says. It'll play on any NTSC DVD player. It also has ENGLISH subtitles so you can understand everything that's being said. Korean subtitles are also choosable.
I really love this 2DVD set. It has the full report from BoA herself telling of her debut and reaching high success. On the bonus features, it also contains music videos to "No.1 -Korean ver.-", "Don't Start Now", "Sarah", "My Sweetie", and more! There's also rare live performances including her debut on TV! Not to mention, it also has a documentary on BoA's trip to the US to recieve Jazz dance lessons, vocal lessons, and to shoot her PV "Don't Start Now"...which she shot in below zero, freezing weather. It also has her documentary on BoA's trip to England as well to do photoshoots, etc!
You get to see what it'd be like to be a hard-working artist like her. She had to go through so much at such a young age and not once did she act immaturely. She handled it like someone much beyong her years...even when she was alone...and even in such harsh, cold weather with a thin jacket. If you don't respect or even like BoA, you'll be surprised at your reaction towards her AFTER you watch this. You'll see that she deserves every bit of fame she recieves.
GREATLY recommended to anyone!!! BoA fans, non-BoA fans, and first-time Asian music listeners.
10 STARS!**********

June 19, 2007 Gonna be a huge hit! There is a huge buzz over this album and if you hear the tracks, you'll know why. The single tracks, of course, are amazing...but the real treat are all the new tracks! "Hide & Seek" is ultimately the best followed by "Hello"! Then, "Should I Love Him?" is one of the most beautiful Namie ballads I've heard yet. Highlight tracks include the ones I mentioned above as well as "Full Moon", "Violet Sauce (Spicy)", and "Step With It!".
"Violet Sauce (Spicy)" is suprisingly really amazing. I thought it'd be hard to top the original version, but this version does!
Overall, all the tracks are AMAZING 'cept for "It's All About You" which is the worst track on the album, in my oppinion. The DVD is also a must-have and features Namie's best music videos she's ever done. They're fresh, original, and will definitely make Namie Amuro a household name in Japan.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 7, 2007 Best BoA TourI have watched this 3 years ago, but it's still painted in my mind. I haven't forgot a single performance. I truly love owning this DVD and it's worth every penny. BoA is such a brilliant vocalist, dancer, and overall entertainer. She combines her wonderful vocals with her stunning dance moves and is still able to carry the song without sounding tired. Very impressive for the young Korean star.
Trust me, this DVD is a MUST BUY. I'm entertained all the way through and very surprised with something on every performance. She's so beautiful & so talented.
Stand-out performances include "Everything Needs Love", "Amazing Kiss", "Over ~Across The Time~", "JEWEL SONG", and "Feel The Same"!
(there are only 2 lipsanc performances on this DVD) "Expect" and "Midnight Parade"Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 7, 2007 Amazing vocalsBoA shows she's talented in more than just dancing on this special DVD highlighting the singer's birthday. BoA really can sing so good and she really demonstrates her amazing range in this live. Sure, there is no dancing, but that doesn't mean it's not entertaining. It's truly amazing and a must-buy for anyone who wants to see an Asian vocalist at her best.
Stand-out performances include "Moon & Sunrise", "Nanairo no ashita ~brand new beat~", "Winter Love", and "Ain't No Sunshine"!
She proves that she's definitely one of Asia's most gifted vocalists. Beautiful & stunning BoA will shock you with her abilites in singing!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 7, 2007 Best Aya singleThis is truly Aya's best single release, in my oppinion. I find myself singing the song without realizing it. It's addictive and very cool. A beautiful rock ballad and look at Aya on the cover; she's absolutely beautiful!
Overall, a MUST BUY for new listeners and Aya fans. If you're wondering what's so great about her, give this a try and see!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

June 7, 2007 Crazy fun!!!When purchasing this, I really wasn't expecting much. It is amazing, however, and I truly love it! Aya's voice is beautiful and very strong. She's so lively and energetic in concert. You'll never get bored. It's entertaining from start to finish.
Don't expect a big arena and all the special effects as seen in a Ayumi Hamasaki or Kumi Koda concerts though; the setting is more simple, but it is what it is - a rock show! Aya is really making a name for herself in Japan. She will be an artist to keep your eye on.
She's gonna be big one day.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
