May 25, 2006 DBSKThey are pretty cool. I don't understand why some people here don't want them to expand to Japan. Whenever an artist(s) can cross over to Japan, that usually means that they are going to be a huge success. Anyway, it makes sense that they should at least do a Chinese album(since one of the members is Chinese) some thing for Thailand, and something for Japan, just to expand to the fans they have there. Don't be selfish. If you really love them, you would want people all over to be able to hear them so that they can be loved by all, not just in Korea. Just an opinion. This is one of her albums where she has grown up a bit more and she's more mature. You can tell in her voice that she's been doing some intensive voice training. So far, my favorite track on this album is Kirakuni. This track shows that Kuri would do well if she crossed over to the states. Song is completely sung in English, except for where she says Kirakuni here and there. I already know that Kuri is fluent in English, so she should definitely cross over. This song just might be the song to break through to the states.
Anyway, all the tracks on this particular album of hers are good. I haven't heard one song that made me want to skip to the next. I could listen to each track all the way through. On a couple of her others, I found myself skimming through once in a while. This album is definitely good. I like. WAY TO GO KURI!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
Aside from that, her look has changed alot too... when I saw one of her more recent photos, I almost didn't recognize her. I was like wow, she has toned it up a lot. She's pretty, and she's got the talent. She's awesome. I really hope one of her next moves is to come over to the states. I'm certain she would do well. She already most of what it takes to be successful, if not all of it. Buy this CD. You won't be disappointed. I guarantee it. Especially for the true Kuri fans.Did you find this review helpful? May 19, 2006 SE7EN's BEST YET!!This is by far SE7EN's best album yet!! As soon as I heard about this album, I went out and bought it!! i can't believe I am going to see him in concert this Saturday!!! that is going to be awesomeness!! OMG!! This album is the best yet!! If you haven't gotten it yet, I reccommend that you go out and get it. You will NOT be disappointed. It has great upbeat songs, as well as good slow jamming songs. They are all good. When i bought this album, i knew not 1 song on here, and I am glad that I got it. Not to mention, the CD jacket is VERY impressive, as was his last one. This album is better than Must Listen, only because this one has more of everything on it. slow, fast, party, you name it. it's there, well as far as R&B goes. I DO believe he put a lot of effort into this album and I am personally proud of him for it. I am definitely anticipating his next one.

May 19, 2006 RAIN is Great!!Ok, first off, I think Rain is one of the greatest Kpop artists out there. He has a lot of versatility, and he sings with emotion. I knew that when I bought this album, i was taking a risk, because I knew only 2 songs off the whole album. I will admit, when I bought this album and listened to it the first time, I took it out of my CD player and didn't play it again for MONTHS. But I put it in again, and actually TOOK TIME OUT TO LISTEN TO EACH SONG, and the CD is actually GOOD. Some of you only skimmed through each track and just listened to like the first 45secs or so. Out of 15 songs, I like 14 of them. That song "Nononono" is terrible. It's the only song I don't like. The best songs on the Album to me are Cha-ja-yo, It's Raining[obviously], I do, My Groove(this song features Epik High), Quiz, Biggest Thing, Wanna Talk[this song is fun], and But I love You[the beat is bangin!]. There are other good songs, but those stand out the most. I don't really know what some people are talking about when they say that this album isn't that good. I agree, It could be better, but have you seen him entertainment-wise? He is one of the BEST dancers I have ever seen. And for the person who said something about Usher's level, when they compare him to Usher, they are talking about his dance style. It IS a lot like Usher's. Better, even. Sometimes Usher makes himself look stupid and Bi always looks good dancing.
Anyway back to Bi. Bi is awesome, and I wish I could've been in New York to see the sample of the RAINY DAY concert that he brought there.
Lastly, it is true that this album does not beat SE7EN's by a LONGSHOT, but is still good to listen to. I think you just have to acquire a taste for his music. If you compare SE7EN to Bi, when it comes to singing, SE7EN wins. When it comes to dancing, Bi wins.
To Bi: Whatever it is that you do, keep doing it. Cuz obviously it's working. You are one of the most popular artists in Asia, so you must be doing something RIGHT. Keep it up!! I hope I get to see you in action one day.
Also: Look out for Rain's ENGLISH language album coming out later this year. YUP, that's right. In ENGLISH!! Bi is crossing over to the US around October of this year. For those of you that don't know, that's called COOLNESS.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

I was thinking that too the whole time I watched this show... It WAS really Ji-Eun's fault that Myung-Ae died... all because she was greedy and only worrying about herself... and her image... when really, Myung-Ae if she knew the truth, would've probably still treated Ji-Eun as a real daughter... It just goes to show you how cruel people can be... It was Ji-Eun's Fault and partially the Dad's fault too, though, because he waited too long to tell the truth.. and he should've told her from day 1 in the first place or sooner than he did... I still can't believe that at the last minute, she finally realized that Hee-Jung was her daughter... that was pretty dumb... I really think this drama could have had some improvements, and I think the ending should have somewhat been rewritten...some things just didn't fall together the way they should've...I mean, Hee-Jung's wardrobe, for instance... I mean, come on... even if you are poor... you should still be able to get creative and make something cool to wear for your self.. you can't be too busy to dress kind of nice at least.. very disappointing for someone who is a fashion designer.. her wardrobe improved a little nearer to the end, but not very much... it's ashame that someone who knew nothing about fashion (Ji Eun) dressed better than she did, and that was before she went to Myung-Ae Yoon... so there... February 4, 2006 I've Finally Seen the Endinging...Well, Like almost a week ago...This drama was cool, but, the last couple episodes where Lee Hee-jung finally found out the "secret", where kind of a drag... it was just annoying a little... and while all the characters each had a different personality, they each had something in common: they were all stubborn at times... especially Hee-Jung... I definitely noticed it at times... one thing I still don't understand though is how a father could let his own daughter believe she was an orphan as revenge on an ex-wife... not very convincing... why would someone be that selfish... and another thing is how could a mother be so pitiful that she can't recognize her own child? whether it's been a long time since she saw her or not... that's just disgraceful...really... anyway, The series is good, nonetheless... it keeps you wondering what's going to happen next... I would just say watch it on TV, cuz then you'd have to wait a day or two before seeing the next episode and that's what makes it fun...I saw it on AZNtv... Did you find this review helpful? January 20, 2006 I have a feeling this show is about to end with aBut can someone tell me how many episodes are in this series? so that I can know how much longer i have to wait before the truth about Myung-Ae, Hee-Jung and Ji-Eun finally come to the light... from another review I read, it looks like Myung-Ae is going to die... I hope she at least finds out that Hee-Jung is her daughter first.. and it sounds like since Jong-man's friend came back into town, he is onto Ji-eun and knows that something is not right... and it is as I suspected!! Ryu Si Won is a singer...I knew it!! I saw him before in another series called wedded bliss...I have confirmed that for sure... anyway...like I said before, I am going on the 13th episode and am hoping that it is almost over... I have to say, that I disagree with others that say that this drama is bad...while the first episode is not very eye catching, I did like that the writer jumped right into the story and let the audience know what each character's personality is like. Aside from that, once you go further and further into this drama, it gets really good...and it does a good job at keeping you at the edge of your seat, thirsty for more... I recommend this story to everyone!!! They should really write a book for this story...forget the love story aspect of it, the secret about the sisters is enough for me... January 18, 2006 I am now in the middle of the series...I am not sure how many episodes are left over, but from what it looks like, everything is starting to fall in place now... I now know the secret, and I so far feel really sorry for Lee Hee-Jung(Kim Ha Neul). It is really sad that her "sister" is that jealous of her... I am glad that she is finally realizing that her sister is not the person she thought she was... I I am at the 10th episode of the series so far, I think altogether there are like 15 or something.. Gun-Hee goes back to Tahiti to try to "forget" Yoo-bin, Yoo-bin does a bunch of sobbing and crying and junk, and then Cha sends Yoo-bin to Tahiti with Choi, and bows out like a loser, and then Yoobin-ssi and Gun-Hee get together and kiss and then it ends with them in the middle of the ocean again, only Gun-hee actually waits for her to finish swimming this time... stupid... kinda left me hanging... cuz at the last scene, you kinda know they're together, but you're still not really clear on that, because of how it goes off... and Gun-hee was very mean to Hye-Mi, and even though she was kinda mean to Yoo-bin, after a while I started to feel kinda sorry for Hye-Mi... She was really pretty and loved Gun-hee and he treated her like crap after a while... anyway this show needs ALOT of improvement. What would've been brilliant is if the writer made several alternate endings... that would've been pretty cool... and they should have a part two of this series... a chance for the writer to fix some of the errors made in this show... January 4, 2006 From looking at the first episode, this show looksI have yet to see the rest of this series, but the first episode has not really caught my attention... it is very disappointing to see a person who works in fashion have such a terrible wardrobe... really... I will write another review later down in the series, and again once it is over... Wasn't that guy who is the president from a singing group or something like that? and he was was better on a show I saw him in called Wedded Bliss, another MBC series an, or is it a KBS series? anyway, he acted way betterd LOOKED way better too... he looks better with more hair...if this is who I think it is... the characters in this series, mainly the older sister is not that good looking... and she dresses TERRIBLE.. The characters, Yoo-Bin (Played by Sung Yoo-ri), Gun-hee(played by Cha Tae Hyun) and Seung-Hyoun (Played by Kim Nam Jin) are picked out pretty well... I have not seen the ending of this show yet, but it will be coming somewhere near the end of next week... the main problem with this show is that after a while, Yoo-Bin starts to get on my nerves a little... she shouldn't lead two brothers on like that... I think it is a good decision for her to not end up with either one of them... and I hope that's how it ends, because no matter which one she goes to, one will be hurt no matter what... anyway i think some of the stuff that happened in this show is very non-realistic and very stupid... and as far as any sympathy for Gun-hee... i felt bad only when his father was dying and that's because he already lost his mother... Gun-hee doesn't deserve Yoo-Bin-ssi any more than Cha did... If you remember, he almost killed Yoobin-ssi near the beginning of the series, abandoning her in the middle of the ocean in Bali... that's something that's unforgivable...and it's unrealistic for someone to fall in love with someone who almost killed you... anyway I hope she decides that since they are brothers, not to get involved with either of them...that, for me would be a good ending... not one of the BEST dramas I've seen, there are better one out there... October 4, 2005 BoA's My Name Album Is Really GoodI must say, that this album by BoA is really good... of all 14 tracks on this album, I like about 12 songs on this CD... there are only like 2 songs that I don't really care for and they are back-to-back: Pit-a-Pat, and I Kiss... other than that, the rest of the songs, in my opinion are EXCELLENT, especially tracks 8, 9, 11, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 12, 13, and 14...the next thing is they all have really nice meanings to them...and to me, yes, My Name does have some resemblance to Toxic, but who cares? As long as it's a good song, doesn't really matter, right? If you compare the two songs, the lyics are alot alike (but don't MOST singers sing about the same things these days?) and the music itself does share some of the same elements... and I do agree that the beginning of the song sounds a lot like J. Timberlake's "Like I Love You", but, even though they do sound similar, there is something about My Name that is different from the other two songs... I can't put my finger on it right now, but there is definitely something different... anyway, moving right along... this is a great CD and if you don't already have this album, you should definitely add it to your music collection, cause if you don't, you will be missing out on great music... and if you can't understand Korean, then she also has this album in Chinese, and she has made Japanese albums as well... at least give BoA a try... she definitely has impressed me with this album...but that's my opinion... I think Mika Nakashima's album Music is great... her music ranges and voice makes her the epitome of what real music is... I love pretty much every song on this CD... and love how it was very well put together... she's very talented and I hope she comes to america to do a concert, or that if I get to go to Japan, I get to see her perform... It's amazing how on each of her songs, she managed to tie traditional japanese, jazz, new age, and many other elements of music all into one song with her voice... 1000 words could not describe how good this album is... it puts my daughter to sleep at night and I sit and listen to it all the time when I need to relax... her voice is wonderful... if you want to get away from some of these American singers, then Mika's the way to go... you definitely will not regret buying this album... Songs that stand out are Sakura-iro mau koro (which means "when the color of cherry blossoms flutter"), Hino Tori (which is "bird of fire" or "Phoenix"), Kumo no Ito (track 4, which means "Spider's Web"), Rocking Horse, LEGEND, Hemmlock (Hemurokku), SEVEN, FAKE, Fed Up, Carrot & Whip, Hitori, and some others... anyway, you can only enjoy this album if you buy it... that's the only way to unlock Mika's true and astonishing talent...I assure you that you will not regret purchasing this CD... She makes great music!!! whether you're a young kid, or an adult, you'll love her music... she's very cool... I like all her songs except for like 2 of them, but I'm sure that with time, they'll grow on me... songs that really stand out are Believe (both the original and the evidence mix), Day by Day, Complete, Be Positive, Never Stop My Heart, Shining Star, Realize, Destiny, Naked, Prayer, and track 1(I forgot the name)... anyway that's like 12 out of 13 songs, so really there's just one that hasn't really grown on me yet... anyway, this is a CD that should be in everyone's Jpop collection... I love him, though and I look forward to his future album... hopefully it will be better than this one... I also like his music videos... he's a great dancer and seems very romantic... the cooler thing about this though is that now, since i've learned Korean, I can translate what he and other artists are saying... It's very exciting... anyway... nonetheless, this CD is good, but just not very strong on vocals... well put it like this, some songs show his vocal ability more than others... on some songs, he sounds terrible and on others he sounds nice... that's all... I love this single... I keep it on repeat all the time... it's really good... I didn't really care for the other two songs on this CD... Hikari and that other Jpop one... they are way to out from what I'm used to hearing from Se7en... I can't picture him making like super pop music, yet in korea he makes R&B music... it's just not my thing... anyway I like the Crazy single, and the music video is also good... it really was crazy... Not that I don't like the other songs, but these just stand out the most... and I do not agree that he sounds like usher...actually, because he does the beat boxes with his mouth and stuff, he sounds like Justin Timberlake...and his voice does too... but that doesn't in anyway take away from the album... maybe he looks up to Justin and Usher... it's ok to admire someone... anyway this album is definitely worth buying and I assure you you will have no regrets at all after buying this album... another thing I was impressed with about this album, was the CD jacket for this album...all I have to say is that this cat is very creative when it comes to art...you will only understand what I'm talking about if you buy the album... it's the only way to see it (unless you know someone with the CD...)!
