I can't believe that this actually has happened, how can someone order this upon his own people!?
How can someone just shut down a whole city?
This is an event I think people all over the world should read about in History.
However back to the movie. They have done it well but somehow it becomes a bit too much, it almost feels like watching a movie from Hollywood. There are too many weapons and shootings. Somehow it gets boring, there should be more story instead...
Still you get a good picture of what happend in Gwangju around 30 years ago..
It's a mix with Love, friendship, life, voices, stand up for themselves.
it's also very tragic and don't be afraid of crying a bit since this is based on a true story.

The past films Arashi has done has been more comical than serious. But this movie is set in the 60's and the members of アラシ/嵐 shows a new side of themselves.
They really proved that they can do more than sing and have fun.. This movie was more or less a tribute to their parents and grandparents..! and it shows that all of them put a lot of effort in it.
Also to see Aibachan and Riida (Ohno) act is rare and therefore special! and fun to watch.
I was a bit disappointed that MatsuJun wasn't in it so much as the others.
Nino does a great job as usual, he is an amazing actor. Also Sho does a good job!
It's about 4 friends, who has different goals in life they want to achieve however it's not as easy and it sounds.
They also have money issues and need to work hard to survive.
They all ((except for MatsuJun)) ends up living at Nino's place one summer, a summer that will change their lives forever!
Also rising actress "Kashii Yu" are featured in the movie, she is alo rising in Japan at the moment and she shows that she has loads of various acting skills to show the world!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

櫻井翔(Sakurai Sho) from 嵐(Arashi) does an amazing job, maybe his best acting so far!? Also I loved 蒼井優(Aoi Yu), she does an amazing job as Hagumi.
The story is really sweet, it's about love, sorrow, understanding and life. It's very down to earth and very easy to follow and understand throughout the whole movie. I wondered what happened to her.. but she is back with new tracks. Bad Boy is totally different from her previous songs but it's a really good tune! I've read it's the same writer who has written songs for Big Bang (빅뱅) and Lexy(렉시).
In Korea she has been described as the female version of 비(Rain).. I'm not sure maybe.. she is on her way anyhow.. and Bad Boy shows it!!
The beat and lyrics matches really nice together!

I loved their song One and it was the major reason to get this album, but after listening through it I only fell for 4 songs on the whole album. Some are too much and I couldn't take it. and then there are some really good songs, such was One (feat 지선) and 우산 (feat. 윤하). I don't really know but there is something that makes this album a huge mix, I don't really find a natural mix balance between the songs on this album.. sorry Epik High, better luck next time! May 18, 2008 SuJu M.. better than SuJu??So many have been saying ONLY 13 and yes somehow I can understand them but seriously. GIVE them a chance first! + They want them to break the Chinese market.. therefore SuperJunior M!! As for me I have never been a huge SuJu fan, I have listened to their song, watched their MV's, shows etc. Still they are so many in 1 group and to be honest, some of them has NO talent at all, in my opinion. This group however proves it wrong, by adding two chinese speaking people and let HanKyung(HanGeng) come forward and become the leader has made them change. This album has been talked about for months, also all various versions, which to choose, what's the difference etc.
As for the songs on this album, There are some totally new tracks and some old SuJu songs that has been re-written into Chinese. Still I have had a slight problem with them since I'm used to the Korean versions however they have done an amazing job because they really sound good. Also they have mixed the vocals well on this album!
Also this Korean edition comes with Korean versions of some of the songs, which is a happy surprise. SuJu M still wants to reach out to their Korean fans despite the trouble they have gone through since they were formed.
Is SuJu M even better than SuJu?? I'd say that they have proved many people wrong. ONLY 13 is yesterday, SuJu M is today and tomorrow. They are less people and they can focus more on uniting the group into one. It's also easier to form them.
Both Henry and ZhouMi are to happy surprises and I think that they will grow much and learn along the way, since the other ones has been in this business longer. But of course who would miss out on this one!? 2cd's and 2 dvd's!!! It's DBSK everywhere! I love the song "Love in the ice" it's my absolute fave DBSK songs!! This album really shows how huge DBSK has become since they debuted. I loved the dvd's there are loads to watch and love! I was a bit disappointed thought.. the song Last angel. This is Koichi's first solo album.. and it's even better than I thought.. When I saw his soloconert from 2004 I was a bit disappointed with him.. since I know that he is great!! Now he is back.. and he has many great songs on this album.. such as 愛の十字架-Promise 2U-, SNAKE and 追憶の雨!! Also I loved the photobook which came with this edition!! it's the best photobook I have ever seen!! It really shows how goodlooking Koichikun really is!! :D Did you find this review helpful? Okada's b-day, all MC clips etc. It's totally amazing. Also that it was released so fast after the tour.. which also included the song "Way of life". May 18, 2008 Good but not great!KinKi Kids are back with a new album.. There are loads of good tunes, however it doesn't break their last cd.. In all it's a good album but not a great. Maybe I expected more in a way. Still I think it's worth buying.. if you are a KinKi Kids fan just like me. Okaeri in Japanese means welcome home and it is really a great song. The lyrics and music are great and she really points out a great point with it! Well done Ayaka!! But its much better than the 2006 version. Both Kame and Koki from KAT-TUN does a great job, BUT the happy surprise are MA member Yara Tomoyuki! He is one of my fave in Johnny's however not too many might know him. but he is great on stage!! I can say it was because of him I watched it. I also love the new song called "Next dream".. I wished they had released is as a singe, because it's a great tune. Also the stage is amazing and they do loads.. also it's nice to see ABC and Kis-my-ft2 members on stage!!
