May 1, 2009 So Cool.This single earring is very cool-looking. It's pretty big, not small at all. It looks a bit big on my ear and I got average-size ears. It's about the height of your average ear.
And yes, you do need two pierced holes to wear these, 'cause the second adjustable pins would stick out anyway. You'll also need the second pin to hold the upper part of the earring to your ear, otherwise the tip of the tower would look off-balance.
However, you do not need to have your cartilage pieced to wear this. I don't even know how this would work with a cartilage since the first pin and the second pin aren't that far away from each other.

May 1, 2009 Good stuffI really enjoy this album. GIRL NEXT DOOR may have been criticized for being "avex's money-maker with no talent" but that's not true. All the songs on this album are pretty good, although they mostly sound the same. This album is enjoyable though. However, it does not really have any songs that stand out amongst all of them.
This CD+DVD version is pretty awesome! It comes with a slip-case and a short photobook. The PVs are pretty stylist. Okay, Avex does spend a lot of money of the trio. April 30, 2009 Awesome Debut"Diary" by Thelma Aoyama is one of the best debut albums in years. All of the songs in this album are outstanding. Some of the songs are upbeat while others are ballads that lets Thelma's strong vocals be heard.

Anyway, the "Global Warning" concert DVDs package-wise is super awesome. The whole package weights couple of pounds and this package comes with a great photobook. It is all wrapped up with Big Bang's usual fabric-packaging. The awesome thing about this set of DVDs is the fact that it has English subtitles. I found it convenient because I don't know a single word in Korean.
Now, speaking of the concert, that's a different story. I was so happy to see the 5-some on my TV screen but when I saw them perform, I was a bit disappointed. Vocally, they are awesome. There's no out-of-tune notes going on in both of the concert. However, cooperation between the members seems to be lacking. To me, it seems like they didn't work together, so the Global Warning concert DVD looks a bit like a mess. There's nothing too special about the performance. It might be the concert manager who is disorganized or something, but the whole concert just doesn't seem organize to me. The members are just all over the place and their performance was a bit lacking. They seem to be out of breath and energy...like they are not very into their performance.
For TaeYang's 1st Concert, I thought it was a bit too short. I just started watching it and then the next thing I know, Taeyang says "It's almost the end of the concert..." I was like, "What?!" Taeyang's solo concert was a bit better than Big Bang's. There was more energy in the show. However, the show is still disorganized. There's nothing surprising about the show. Very predicting and all. The thing that gets the crowds going besides Taeyang's awesome vocal is his constant lifting of his shirt (and actually taking off his shirt in the beginning) to get the fangirls screaming.
I think the real problem with the two concert is the concert director. I think YG gotta hire a better concert director for BB's future concerts.
Overall, if you are a Big Bang fan, I recommend this. If you are looking for a fun and energetic concert to watch, I wouldn't recommend this.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

April 11, 2009 Bought itAnd it's totally worth the buy. I am usually not into singers/bands that dedicate their music career to animes, even if they can really sing. However, Kalafina's career is going to be quite long. The genre of this album is pop, rock, and vocal.
The live footage made me admire the Kalafina members more. Their live performance is fantastic! They can really sing live unlike many singers. Here are the tracks of the DVD.

March 23, 2009 Good for startersI have listened to BoA's works for years now but I never bother buying any of her works. It's just that in each of her album, there's only a specific amount of songs that are worth buying, thus, I didn't bother.
I know how you guys are saying this "best of" album is not worth the buy but I think it actually is for me. This best album contains all the good BoA songs that I don't own, so it's a great album to get me started.
Although I already purchased her "BoA" or English album in the US already, the Japanese songs alone is worth the buy.

Their music reminds me of a stage production, you know, the sort of music that stage plays would use. "Seventh Heaven" would be the soundtrack for the show. All of the members have the most enchanting voice and I love every single song.
However, I am not sure which edition to purchase. If someone had purchase the CD+DVD, can you tell me what's included in the DVD? What sort of live footage?
