August 5, 2006 Ouuuuueeeeeennnnndaaaaaaaaaan!I purchased this game after being recommended and I was totally impressed! Although this is a Japanese game the menus are totally easy to navigate.
You'll get the hang of this game almost instantly. The selection of songs in this game are pretty good. It'd be better if there's more songs though. But the various difficulty levels will keep u busy for a while.
If you've got a friend who also has a copy of this game, then you can have a versus game. However, the slowdown in wireless battles is pretty obvious.

The game involves doing various tasks to earn money and improve your village. You'll feel very motivated to carry out these tasks in the first few days of playing. But after a couple of weeks, you'll find the number of tasks limited with little change in gameplay. Your town is very small in size with limited areas to explore.

August 5, 2006 Play detective!The stories, all involving murder cases, are very atmospheric : frequently sending shivers down my spine. The game operates in a point and click system where you must gather evidence from various places to combat against the false claims of witnesses in court. Humourous moments are sprinkled throughout the game and the satisfaction of proving the witnesses wrong is priceless! However, this game is not for everyone. Being a detective game, lots of reading is involved. And some of the evidence is near impossible to be logically linked to the crimes: resulting in many trial and error guesses. But if you like this sort of thing, this game can keep you entertained for a while since it contains 4 long cases. The only bad thing about the game is that you'll only play it through once: if you play a 2nd time, you'll already know the whole story and how the evidence fits. Did you find this review helpful? This game turned out to be amazing! Totally worth the money. Most of the characters from the anime are in here with a wide variety of special techniques that remain faithful to the series. There are many different tournaments with various difficulty levels, plus lots of extra things to do . It'll keep you entertained for months. The graphics are crisp 2D. It'd probably look better in 3D, but we have to keep in mind of the DS's limited specifications.
Note: Since this is a Japanese game, some of the text is in japanese. The main menus, however, are in English. Therefore, you shouldn't have a problem playing the main part of the game.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

August 4, 2006 Awesome Debut!!!Lately, I haven't been paying much attention to the Cantonese music industry. Lack of talent and creativity amongst new singers in HK made me seek towards mandarin music as a major part of my music consumption.
However, on August '06, a true talent made her debut. Vincy's crisp-clear and soulful voice in her song 'Gan Ying' immediately caught my attention and before I knew it I was ordering her cd on Yesasia.
The album is very solid: consisting of a large number of ballads (e.g. tracks 2,4,5 and 8), with a few songs that experiment other genres such as guitar (track 1) and latin (track6: Vincy's performance is very captivating in this song).
I feel that this album is a very strong debut. All the songs are exceptionally good. Vincy may find it difficult to produce a second album that matches-up.
I agree with the writer below that Vincy beats all other newcomers hands-down. In fact I argue that her voice beats even some of the more established HK singers. Vincy has a natural singing voice: just listen to her live performance on the extra dvd and you'll agree.
In conclusion, this is the type of music I have been waiting for. This is true talent. HK should stop 'making' their singers through commercial methods, but instead try to seek out naturally talented people.

March 29, 2006 Ballads Galore!Nearly all tracks in this album are K-songs of exceptional quality. Which is good: if you like this sort of music. However, this is not so good if you're the type who hates ballads. I like ballads so I'm in love with this album! The track 'Volar' stands out in that it is not a ballad but a rather addictive dance song. Justin performs the song very well and I'd like to see more of this in future. January 26, 2006 And I thought the ending of the tv series was bad.The tv series of Evangelion would have been perfect if it wasn't for the crazy ending. Then, I heard that this movie 'End of Evangelion' is the true ending to the series and so i purchased it. The action is good. However, the crazy psychological stuff is still here. And Shinsuke, the main character, still chickens-out: seen enough of that in the tv series- what a wuss!!! Both endings are just as poor: both as difficult to understand. An absolute bomb of a cd! Although people criticise Jay for using the same formula again and again, I feel that it is a winning formula and may keep me hooked forever. January 16, 2006 Fearless JayJay never ceases to amaze me with his musical talents. I've listened to Huo Yuanjia (track 1) already on radio. Literally, Jay sings like a girl in some points of the song. The weakness of the track is that it is too similar to his old work. Specifically, Huo Yuanjia sounds just like Blue Hurricane from his latest album, but with different lyrics. I can't wait to listen to Jay sing Life Sacrifice in Cantonese. I've heard him sing Canto in his concerts before. But this time, I expect high standards of pronounciation if it's a cd track. I'll definately buy this EP , from Yesasia, to support Jay. November 10, 2005 Good MusicIf it sounds good to me, then it's good music. A few reviewers say that track 3 is the only good song in this album. I agree that it's good, but it's not my favourite. How could you not like track 4 with it's deeply emotional tunes and lyrics? and track 6 with the beautiful orchestra sounds in the background? and track 10. I've never heard Jay sing a duet before so this came as a big surprise to me and it was marvelous. Jay never disappoints me and in my opinion this album is better than his previous one. September 16, 2005 Initial G for Greeeat!This moving is really good. They made the right choice to make Jay Chou play Takumi: they've got the same straight face all the time! I think Edison was quite good but he doesn't look smart enough to make us believe that he's the super know-it-all Ryosuke. Jordan Chan looks EXACTLY like Sudou....cool!
The plot follows the anime quite well, but there are quite a few differences. Some people don't like these differences, but i think it is necessary. Who'd wanna watch it if it's exactly the same as the anime cartoon?!
The soundtrack is quite catchy. RnB/rap but not techno stuff. I also think this is necessary since it gives the movie a more realistic/reality feal. Plus, the songs by Jay are totally awesome !!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
