high melodrama
high melodrama
| i watched this for wallace huo. first saw him in dolphin bay and thought he is too-hot-to-handle. the cover and story for this drama looked to good to pass up. had to get it. and penny lin is good actor too. another reason had to get it. the beginning is good about the lady giving birth to twin girls. she gave up one to be adopted into a rich family. the other one she secretly kept to grow up with her in a poor environment. the middle is boring. it got into one struggle and keep going back and forth. like many taiwan tv dramas this has a lot of arguing and crying. this is high melodrama. the ending is good. this tv drama is too long. it dragged to much in the middle. it could have been made with 20 episodes max. did not need to drag it out way long like dragging a cow. the acting is good i will it give it that. |

| The storyline of this drama is pretty good and its overall easy to follow and get into. I actually got a little bit too into it. I gave it an 8 out of 10 because the storyline was well writtened but it was very unfair on the character xiaofeng, thus got me to over react in some scenes. lols. anyways i feel cheng qiao en did an spetacular job playing the very well mannerd rich girl in the begining then playing the funny, cute, and dorky xiao feng later on. However i do feel that penny lin did not do a good job, her acting got on my nerves and well it really blowed. But if you are into a drama about revenge, love, betrayal, family fueds, and are ready to be mad about some of the happenings in a drama, well then this is the drama for you |

Great drama!!!!!! Watch it!!!
| I just finished watching this drama and I loved it! Although it was 40-episode long, I didn't feel bored at any minute. I just kept on watching and enjoying it at the same time. The cast was wonderful and the acting skills of the 4 main leads were superb! Wallace and Penny was a great couple, no doubt. And how Deric changed from a bad guy and redeemed himself at the end because of love was convincing as well. My favorite character in this drama is Chen Qiao En. She's so pretty and funny. I watched her for the first time in "Prince turns into a Frog" and felt she was just okay. But in here she was totally awesome!!! So cute!! And the scenes between her and Deric were very enjoyable too. Overall this a very good drama with many funny and touching moments and great acting that I think everybody should find a way to watch it!!! |

| at first i really really wanted to see this drama because it had such rave reviews and i love wallace huo. the first twenty epidsodes were alright, not the best but not that horrible, but then it just got so slow and boring towards the end that i had to fast foward most of it. (i swear, you could skip an epidsode and not miss a thing). i don't know, maybe its becusae i watch a lot of korean dramas, and i just think this is an imitation of a korean drama, minus the acting ability and chemistry between the leads. (don't get me wrong, i loved mg, mars, and outsiders) |

| I rented dis series bcuz it looked interestin n there were no good series out. Once I watched it, I was addicted to it, lik glued to da screen, n so was my sis & mother. I loved everyone's acting in here n dats how I recognized Joey's (Qiao En), Wallace's, Penny's, & Deric's skill to acting. I loved da series so much dat I even recorded from video to video & it took a while. The storyline was realli interestin & it finalli got a happy ending. From dis series, I've made myself watch all four of da actor's other series, new & old. |
