John Tang reprises his role as Bo, the Hong Kong youth whose teen years are a combination of familiar angst and tender maturation. Having finally reached college, Bo must deal with separation from his family and from his childhood love Ting Ting. Providing romantic distraction is Jean (model Vanessa Yeung), an older photography student who Bo chooses as the primary target for his burgeoning hormones. But when his father (Eric Tsang) is diagnosed with throat cancer, Bo has a whole new crisis to deal with. Director Jacob Cheung (The Intimates) evokes familiar emotions for this nostalgic and heartwarming tale about growing up. Featuring the voice of popular actor Sean Lau Ching Wan as the older Bo, Yesterday You, Yesterday Me is preceded by the films Yesterday You, Yesterday Me, Yesterday and Over the Rainbow, Under the Skirt.
