Odd Couple

Martial arts masters go toe-to-toe in Odd Couple, an entertaining weapons-wielding extravaganza starring Lau Ka Wing and the great Sammo Hung! The King of the Spear (Lau Ka Wing) and the King of the Sword (Sammo Hung) are old rivals who meet every ten years to duel for supremacy, but their duels usually end without a winner. To further their age-old competition, they decide to train apprentices, with Sammo Hung playing Lau Ka Wing's apprentice and vice-versa! However, a common foe with an axe to grind with the two masters shows up, and promptly uses the dissension between the masters to his advantage. Ultimately, the only way for the students to live up to their masters' teaching is to combine forces against this common foe! Odd Couple features traditional sword and spear fight sequences that are considered among the best the genre has to offer. Sammo Hung and Lau Ka Wing show winning comic chemistry and convincing martial arts proficiency in each of their dual roles, with Lau Ka Wing doing triple duty as director too!

This is a great movie for old school Kungfu fans!
Sammo Hung and Lau Ka Wing display excellent broadsword and spear techniques..a must for traditional KF movie collectors!
