A definate must have for kung-fu maniacs. The combo fights have great re-play value & the expected eye popping, jaw dropping sequences of Sammo & Lau Kar Wing. It is also a treat to catch "identifiables" (Lam Ching Ying)in multiple mini-supporting roles. A definate must see for spear lovers & the broad sword versus spear by the lead roles is truly a diamond in the rough.

Amazing film ! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Too bad that I haven't seen this movie earlier - but now that I have it in my collection, I feel proud owning this film... It is full of action scenes, great martial arts choreography and funny acting from all characters, something which is very rarely seen in nowadays movies (even martial arts) and it is sad to see that such movies are no longer created... I admire the old school of filmmaking, because it is made with heart and soul and not with special effects or wires... An amazing film, which is a must for every martial arts movies fan ! Recommended !!

well sammo hung has to be the best when it comes to fighting with weapons. hes martial arts and weaponray in this will have you reaching for the rewind button.
youll see extras poping up the background such as lam ching ying and yuen biao.

leung kar yan puts in a good performance, why cant kung fu films be more like this now.

You have to see it to believe it, the stunts are phenomenal, the bouts fantastic and what about the
professionnal handling of the weapons: awsome.
A must see ford fans of Hung Gar movies. Sammo has outdone himself,with the help of Leung Ka Yan, Lau Kar Wing and Yeun Biao who basicaly does the accrobatic you will be satisfied with that movie I guarantee it.
Wow! I personnaly own 60 movies of Hung Kam Bo, this is the best ever, scenario, acting and stunts you got it all. Too bad Sammo does not do those movies anymore, what a loss for us avid Kung Fu fans.
