Poor effort TVB

The story line and acting are as fantastic as ever, and the sound quality and pictures are very good. But there is more to making a good VCD/DVD than that. Having seen the original full length edition, this version cuts out way too many scenes for my liking. Do the editors know this can really change the whole viewing experience? Oh, and the surprise ending is flashed up every time in the new intro. I just can't believe what a daft idea that is. Please TVB, do this great series justice, and release a full length DVD and change the intro. |

Japanese official release is best
|
To-date the best version of this drama ever released is the Japanese official release. All 25 episodes intact with full title and ending scores but the picture&sound quality is not the greatest due to the age of the drama (not re-mastered). If I remember correctly the HK VCD version has a more vivid colour picture quality but I personally prefer an unedited storyline to picture quality if I had to choose. No full score rating for the HK VCD version due to scenes being edited. |

Again,another master piece of ANgie chiu and chow yut fat's. THey are the most handsome couple in tv dramas. Chow yut Fat was very young and looked absolutely handsome,whereas Angie looks gorgeous,cute and the most prettier actress. Even looking at their faces made this drama a MUST buy series and something that worths treasuring. |

I remember this was the first tv series my mother rented when she spent $1000 to buy a Panasonic top loading VCR, the first of its kind. I never got to watch this series but I certainly remember the theme song...very catchy and has everyone singing it. So now, I buy this series and watching it. I can see the memerization of it all - and Chow Yun Fat looks so cool being Hui Mun Keung. It is definetly a cult classic |
