Enormously Outrageous & Entertaining Trash

Very funny exploitation film loosely based on the Chinese folk story of Little Cabbage (Xiao Bai Tsai). The viewer will enjoy this much more if he/she is acquainted with Chinese erotic literature such as The Golden Lotus or The Carnal Prayer Mat. This movie has a terrific sense of humor that seems to be lost to many people. Skanky sex, violence and ribaldry that will keep you laughing till you break your funny bone. Little Cabbage is a young innocent who is victimized by most of the world, from the bandits who murder her parents; her master's evil wife; and the corrupt judge and his conniving son. Lots of extreme sexual situations, extreme torture situations, Taoist sexual magic, Confucian moralizing. Highly recommended comedy for adults only. |

Not that good, but not that bad either..

Mmmmm....I bought this with the expectation of a sort of gore-fest, but that's not it.. It begins with some heavy (fake) stuff, like a castration and a beheading. When it really goes to the main story, the tortures become more subtle, and, to be honest, more realistic. That's just not for me..and besides that, the story is dragging itself a bit. |
