　　接辦首宗案件的年輕檢察官元彪，起訴大毒梟張沖、田俊，說服勝叔出庭頂證後，擔保安全。開番前因勝叔一家遭殘殺，而撤銷控訴。元彪感到應負責任，且有感於正當法律途徑實難將大奸大惡繩之於法，某夜，元彪到張沖處，將他擊斃。

　　警方，黃局長派洋師姐羅芙洛及新調到任便衣探員元奎負責緝捕兇手歸案。羅芙洛搜集蛛絲馬跡，憑精明頭腦分析，認定元彪嫌疑最大，遂展開對彪偵查行動。彪擺脫監視，直闖田俊家，欲殺田俊，卻出意料發覺田俊已遭人殺害，且被羅當場出現擒彪……

　　This is the first case for young public prosecutor Yuen Biao. The People vs. drug kings Paul Chang and James Tien. Yuen is sure of conviction as Uncle Sing has agreed to testify in court. The sky falls on Yuen who learns Uncle Sing and his family are murdered the night before. Both defendants are set free on lack of evidence. A deeply outraged Yuen decides to take law into his own hands. He goes out and kills Paul Chang. Station chief Wong orders Cynthia Ruthrock and Yuen Biao. She and Kway start to shadow Yuen Biao. Yuen Biao slips James Tien's home only to find him killed. He has to fight off a determined Ruthrock to get away......

Good show Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
One of the top rating show but I think this one is a bit overarated. Very good story lines. Kimura was very funny. Interesting relationship between Kimura and Matsu...is not clear, just hints! I wish they develop the relationship a little bit more.

Excellent!! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I have watched the VCD version of Hero, and it was GREAT! One of the best Jap drama out there. I have a friend which has the DVD version of this, but it keeps skipping the tracks, frozen pictures. Maybe you will be getting crisp & clear quality pictures, but with the annoying skipping tracks & frozen pictures can make you mad. I prefer the VCD version, since it doesnt have any problems. Overall, its a great Jap Drama. :)
