An Unexpected Twist. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Okay, to be honest with you all, I was never really a biggest fan of her R&B works. Albums like "First Love" and "Distance" never really spoke to me. But when hearing this album, I was completely surprised of how much her musical style has changed since then.
The album itself is very dark. Completely different from her innocent teenage days of "First Love" and "Distance" It may shock listeners at first, but eventually they'll find themselves completely suck in the realm of classial j-pop. Songs like "Sakura Drops" "Play Ball" "Shiawase ni Narou" "Deep River" "Final Distance" and "Uso Mitai na I Love You" really bring out the emotion Utada was trying to display for us.
Personally, this is one of my favorite albums from Utada. There isn't a single song I dislike. I've always enjoyed her works where she isn't afraid to unleash the dark sides that are chained within us...and from listening to this album, I can say that she is emphasizing it enough for everyone.

Looking Around Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I rate by the percentage of songs in the album that I like.

So far I was confused why some people who followed Hikaru-san was dissapointed with this album. Then I figured out that Distance was before this and you can say she turned a 180 with her music. Though (for me) it is a good 180, but change is change

I've listed to this album for many years and I still love it. (though there are two songs i can do fine without)

A must listen is Sakura Drops, Traveling (not recommended for all cause its soo funky 8), I Love You, Deep River (sad song), Final Distance, and finally HIKARU!!!

Sucks that the PV for Hikari was...nothing for me to get excited about XD.

A Must Have! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you are die hard Utada fan, your collection would not be complete without this album. This cd was Utada at her prime. All the hits such as Traveling, Sakura Drops, Hikari, Deep River, Letters, and Distance are on this album. When I first bought this album (back in 2004) it was great and it's still great now. No matter how old Utada's cds are, they still have a modern beat. None of her music sounds old.

This cd it worth evey penny!

Every song is excellent, the manufacturing is of great quality and the music is great, my particular favorites "Sakura Drops" and "Traveling".

It's definitely one of her best albums, and better than Ultra Blue of course.
