A triumvirate of veteran Hong Kong actors star in Partners an international crime thriller spanning Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia. Kwan (Simon Yam), Poon (Eric Tsang), and Rick (Michael Wong) are three seasoned criminals who've combined for big scores in the past, but things have changed. While Kwan was recuperating from a gunshot wound, Poon took over the team and led them to new heights. However, Poon may not be telling his partners all his plans. On a routine heist in Thailand, Poon reveals a larger goal of revenge against a rival Thai gangster - plans which he hasn't fully disclosing to his partners. Rick and Kwan don't appreciate the lack of info, and seeds of distrust are sown. Meanwhile, various cop organizations track the trio, and an undercover cop (popular Chapman To) shadows them at every turn. Featuring lots of murky double-dealing, potent action sequences, and dependably tough performances from the actors, Partners is a gritty action thriller in grand Hong Kong Cinema tradition!

A robbery gang, which is regarded as a dream team, is famed in a short period of time for their various well-planed, swift and successful operations. They even kill an undercover cop, meaning to humiliate the Hong Kong police force.
However, an internal strife is developed among the team. The other three members want to get rid of their leader for taking his share and revenging on his snatch of their love. They kill their leader who has wholeheartedly trusted his fellows all the time. Without leading power, the group loses the tacit understanding soon and the dream team falls apart......
