　　The Ice Storm happens over an eventful weekend in New Canaan. Connecticut, in 1973. The sexual revolution in the 60's has finally come to suburbia where Ben and Elena find themselves at a turning point in their marriage. Their daughter Wendy makes her first steps towards sexual maturity with Sandy next door when his mother Janey has an affair with Ben. Paul, elder brother of Wendy, feels alienated from the complacency of his family's bourgeois existence as well as the social rituals of the prep school where the attends ......
