I love this Revolt sacd version very much Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have been looking for Priscilla Chan earlier albums (those released in the 80s) but can't really find any of them in the cd shop, luckily, I got this one from Yesasia.com, and I love this album very much especially in sacd version which PC's voice sounds more natural and sweet. The songs selection in this album is nice and suit PC very much, I can say I love every song in this sacd, no doubts, the songs sound 80s but never outdated, it's classic and evergreen. I hope there will be more sacd releases of PC's 80s albums. Thanks....I love Priscilla Chan

6 of these tracks are among her most popular... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
... she sang track nos. 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 10 at her farewell concert. Phil says that Dancing St won best disco song in '86 which I was unaware of. I'm pretty sure though that I saw track 2 - 'accidental love' - in a best 10 songs of the year awards album years ago. I have two copies of the original CD to this album. The UK isn't the best place to shop for Chinese music but I luckily found this when I was in the US 10 years ago (they seemed to have everything there). Then I discovered the Priscilla from beginning box set at Yesasia a while back which (obviously) includes this in the package. I suppose the 2 songs which have dated the most are tracks 4 and 9. Most of the songs have an 80's feel about them but these two in particular are very 80's teeny pop with an upbeat tempo - reminds me very much of high school teen romance movies (in the 80's as well). Still, all songs are a joy to listen to and considering this was early in her career, it's obvious why she became so popular - her singing is outstanding. She is truly a natural talent.

"Dancing Street" - Best Disco Song Award Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
In 1986, Priscilla Chan released her third Cantonese pop album. Mr. Michael Au took the helm as her album producer for the first time and with satisfying results. The songs in the album were well composed, well written and the music were arranged nicely. "Dancing Street" won the "Best Disco Song Award" at TVB's "J.S.G. Best 10 Awards Presentation 1986". I watched the program several months ago on Jadeworld's TVBJ channel (Chinese pay television service for the Australian Chinese community). I watched the youthfully beautiful Priscilla dancing and singing away in a nice, fun costume among cartoon characters and TVB's dancers. My other favourite songs in this lovely album includes: ""Love Me Once Again", "A Day In June", "Road", "Revolt", "Embracing With Tears", "Forget The Sadness" and "The Wall". I sincerely recommend this SACD version of the album. Better audio quality for superior listening enjoyment. Also, I would like to sincerely wish Priscilla all the best for TVB's "J.S.G. Best 10 Awards Presentation 2003", which shall be broadcasted live in Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, and other worldwide locations on the 10th of January, 2004. Lastly, I hope Priscilla will come to Sydney, Melbourne, etc. to hold concerts. I wish you, Priscilla and everybody, the best of health for 2004. We shall be looking forward to brighter and better future. Cheers!

"Dancing Street" - The Best Disco Song Award Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Back in 1986, Priscilla Chan being in the Hong Kong pop music biz for two years, have released this relatively successful third Cantonese album. "Dancing Street" was probably the only nominated song in the running for the Top Ten at TVB's "J.S.G. Best 10 Awards Presentation 1986". It didn't win in the Top 10, but it won "The Best Disco Song Award" at this award ceremony. I know this fact, because I bought the "PolyGram Forever" (4 CD + 2 VCD) package about 2 1/2 years ago, and also several months ago, the award ceremony was re-broadcasted on Jadeworld's TVBJ channel at Sydney and other capital cities in Australia. I watched her dance and sing in a nice, fun costume, among cartoon characters and TVB's dancers. Other songs in this lovely album being "Accidental Love", "Love Me Once Again", "Summer", "A Day In June", "Road", "Revolt", "Embracing With Tears", "Bad Habits", "Forget The Sadness" and "Wall" were well composed, well written and the music was nicely arranged. Of course, the remaining efforts belongs to the background vocal singers, the musicians, Mr. Micahel Au (being Priscilla's album producer for the first time), and the beautiful and talented Priscilla. Also, I sincerely wish her the very best for TVB's "J.S.G. Best 10 Awards Presentation 2003". Ta.
