    The Seoul Hotel is an achievement Chairman Choi has worked for all his life. After his sudden death, he leaves behind the once flourishing hotel to his wife Dong-Suk. In order to bring the hotel back to prosperity, Dong-Suk sends hotel manager Jin-Young (Song Yoon-A) to the US to persuade the former head manager of the hotel, Tai-Jun (Kim Seung-Woo), to return to his post. Tai-Jun accepts the offer but unexpectedly stumbles into a hotel acquisitions expert named Dong-Hyuk (Bae Yong-Joon), who happens to be head over heels in love with Jin Young. Jin-Young has mixed feelings about her ex-boyfriend and colleague Tai-Jun. Things get more complicated when the wayward and wealthy Yun-Hee (Song Hye-Kyo) falls in love with Tai-Jun. Get ready for an intriguing story of business rivalry and romance.

    Worth watching Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    I just finished watching this drama show. It was funny because throughout the show I kept guessing who Jin-Young will end up to the last episodes. Honestly through the show I was confused who I wanted her to end with. I know that this is just a drama show and not real, but I could sense and feel the emotion of all characters that were involved. The main characters anguished over love and power can be really felt throughout the show. The other supporting characters made a difference in the overall story. It had a good casting. I really think the ending was fit for the show. I would recommend to watch and buy this dvd, but wait for the sale through in Yesasia com.

    I like the music Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
    Definitely not my favorite Korean Drama. I do like the first few scenes , like the chaos in the kitchen, the water
    dance in Las Vegas. I also like the music and I like the fact that there is Chinese subtitle. Of all the characters,
    I like the lady president of the hotel, and the manager played by Kim Seung Woo the best. The love story, to me, is only
    so so. When it takes me 7 months to finish a show, I would say it is a slow show. I think the lovers are mismatched.
    Song Hye Kyo should be with the new young president and Song Young Ah should be with Kim Seung Woo.

    My favorite K-drama of all time Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    This was my very first korean drama, so I might be a bit bias, hehehe. I absolutely love Hotelier. I've watched it about 5 times and it gets better every time I watch it. All the actors are great, especially Bae Yong Joon & Kim Seung Woo. This drama is very funny and very touching at the same time. I love the chemistry between Bae Yong Joon & Song Yoon Ah. And even though I love Song Hye Kyo; her performance was a bit flat in this drama. I much prefer her performance in Full House. The soundtrack is absolutely beautiful. I definitely recommend this drama to everyone.

    English subtitles, please advise!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
    This is directed to anyone who owns this 2003/US English subtitles version of HOTELIER, which I absolutely love and definitely want to own.
    I'm thinking about purchasing it, and I would appreciate your opinion/recommendation on the subtitles. I recently borrowed a HOTELIER DVD set with such poor English subtitles, that in many places, it made it extremely hard to follow the plot/lines. Very frustrating. Nothing like WINTER SONATA, which I bought, and the subtitles are superb! I would very much appreciate your help so I can make a good purchase decision.

    After a very slow start, the action and suspense picked up and the acting outstanding. I recommend this series for everyone.
