Among the band of assassins trained to use the flying guillotine is Ma Teng (Shaw Brothers regular Chan Koon Tai), who starts as the most talented member of the gang, and ends up as the gang's ultimate quarry. He goes on the run for two years with his girlfriend, but the two cannot elude the assassins forever. Eventually the gang will catch up with their former member...and when they do, heads undoubtedly will roll. Directed by Ho Meng Hua, The Flying Guillotine is a solid martial arts tale that has reached cult status thanks to its titular device, a creative killing machine whose existence would forever define martial arts cinema for legions of fans!
