　　A story about two different men each finding their true meanings in life. LESLIE and TONY, two lower middle-class bachelors, are bosom friends. LESLIE is a wandering soul who seems unable to settle down. He give got fired and his girlfriend left him. TONY is a frustrating musician and a part-time worker at an elderly home. He doesn't like old people, but works there only to get close to his dream girl WAI.

Long & Winding Road Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
A youthful Leslie in his element portraying a out-of-job man with a gift of the gab. His nerdy bosom pal played by Tony was alright, nothing out of the ordinary. However the story shows that lack of academic qualification does not mean you can't get a job, especially when you have the gift of the gab. Some hilarious moments and punchlines (especially at the beach, restaurant and casino). A supporting role by Rosamund Kwan well played as the corporate climber who's sleeping with the married boss.
A note to contradict the story outline given in the dvd description. Tony does work at the old-age home but definitely NOT to get close to the girl of his dream. His co-worker has a crush on him and they get on socially as a group.

Hilarious! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Finally this wonderful movie got re-released on DVD!!Filmed in 1994 this movies shows the bond of four friends who try to maintain their friendship when personal struggles lead them to question their relationship. Leslie is unbeatable as the slimeball Lam Chiu Wing who gets his poor friends into all sorts of troubles in order to make some money or get a girl, especially his naive musician friend played by Tony Leung Ka Fai suffers a lot... Leslie´s and Tony´s interaction on screen is just hilarious. Furthermore you even get something funny out of Michael Wong in this movie, as hard as this is to imagine. For all Leslie´s fans this mostly upbeat yet truthful movie is already a must buy, all others can enjoy it as a funny comedy with a good portion of reflecting on basic values, how to treat your friends right, your partner, what´s important in life etc. Great Movie!

I am looking very much forward to having this DVD coz it was my long time wish that I can have this Leslie's movie in DVD! I knew this movie was not that great but Leslie was truely adorable with his role in the movie. And also I'd love to see Leslie work together with Tony. What a gorgeous time it was! I miss those old good days so much!

Fun and funny Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I love leslie so much in this movie. He is super-bitchy yet still manages to charm his way into your heart. As the unscrupulous Wing, Leslie is really in his element. Tony also puts in a good performance as the nerdy buddy of leslie who gets used and manipulated by him. Some of the dialogue is really funny but not the mandarin version though. The Cantonese dialogue is much better and definately more colourful and funny. The funny scene in the casino and the following one in the restaurant really cracked me up. Btw, the sexy beach photo which Leslie appears with slicked back hair, sucking on a lollipop is from this movie.

Don't let the title deceive you; must watch! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This must be one of leslie's most low profile movies. With a title like this, you don't expect the movie to be very interesting. When I popped this vcd into my player, I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I surprised! Turns out this movie was truly entertaining with lots of witty dialogue and a wonderful performance by Leslie, yet again. He plays a sleazeball of a character who has no qualms sponging off his friends, girlfriend and ex-girlfriend (who happens to be the sister of his buddy). In the end, he gains in monetary terms but loses all his friends. Despite the funny moments, this is actually a heart-warming movie as we witness how Leslie's sleazeball character redeems himself in the end. Leslie's character isn't very likeable at the beginning but well, being Leslie, you can't dislike him for too long. Leslie is really cute in this movie even when he is not likeable. Watch it or regret!
