Indeed his profile in Hong Kong grew to astounding proportions during the early nineties. This Film of Stephen Chow boxset revisits two of his films made during this period, namely, Legend of The Dragon (1991) and King of Beggars (1992). Digitally remastered with DTS Sound and Anamorphic Widescreen, these two amusing titles now come in the best quality ever!

In Legend of the Dragon, Stephen Chow plays the son of a Kung Fu Master (Yuen Wah, who also star in Kung Fu Hustle) living on an outlying island of Hong Kong. He follows his Uncle (Leung Ka Yan) to the urban area for a better career development, without noticing that his Uncle is trying to take advantage of him...

Stephen Chow turns in another charismatic and heroic performance in King of Beggars, a period kung-fu comedy from director Gordon Chan who joined forces with Stephen Chow in Fight Back to School and made a huge box-office success. In the film Chow plays a lazy layabout who later learns the hilarious "sleeping kung-fu" and returns to fight for justice!
