A Bit Too Human Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Human is Leo's latest effort, and a good one at that.

While I can't say it's my favourite Leo release to date, it is really strong in an overall sense. I found the theme of the album to be very deep, and all the songs pretty much adhered to the theme. Melodically speaking, I don't find a lot of songs *that* memorable, but at the same time, I don't find myself having to skip over any tracks either.

I must say, I hate the bulky packaging, which does affect my review a tad. What's with ONE whole CD for ONE single track (the duet)? And the massive cardboard box is hard to put with the rest of my CDs. The lyrics booklet, on the other hand, is really pretty, and of high quality. I just wish the overall thing was more compact and easier to store!

Back to how the album *sounds*. It's still a really safe step for Leo. I don't think he's doing anything particularly different or particularly well.

I like the direction the lyrics are headed, with the overall depth (relative to other current hits), but would like to see his vocals and musical direction expand as well.

exceptional cd Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
i'm not that great of a leo ku listener..but he has some great songs for the past few years..so i decided to give his new album a try

it's quite good..i enjoyed most of the songs

like..track 1 -> gives a very smooth feeling..makes me reminise about my past..back into the childhood days...and his voice is quite soft..delieverd very well
track 2 --> a happy exciting feeling...a ready to take on the world scenario..suitable for the busy life everybody has
track 3 --> a remake of david tao's song..he challenges his vocals here..well done..this verison and david's original verison both sound great
track 5 --> a typical karaoke song..so memorable melody and chorus
track 7 --> another melodious song..written by ivana..love his vocals..and how he incorporates too
track 9 --> the best song of the album...typical karaoke feel..but still very challenging to sing...and meaningful lyrics

overall..the cd is very good..there's a lot of slow songs in this album though..although they are good..but it might bore out some listeners..leo did try adding a bit of some rock-ish songs in here..but i didn't find that his voice was very suitable for this type of song..maybe next time he could try something different..somethign new..but sitll good =)

Human Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I think you need to listen to this album a few times before the songs sound good - so it's worth giving it a chance. The songs are of good quality, but nothing stands out like it did on his past couple of albums. Still recommend this though, good songs, good singing.

HuMan tOuCh Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
To start with I think the overall packaging is very 'down to earth' which fit the theme of the album "Human".

Recommend most of the song except track 6 - "unluckly guys" perhaps Leo just don't suit this type of tempo songs. Highly recommeded track 5 - "repeating mistake", track 7 - "shower" and track 9 "too late"....

Word of advice: Before listening to the CD start with the DVD and watch the short movie directed by our very own Leo Ku. Why? It's easier to get into the mood of these song when is presented via a story. Try it out !!!
( Nice piece of work for first timer director )

Next trick, rearrange the track in your HiFi in the order of track 1,7,3,5,4,9,8,10,11,2 and then switch to disc 2 where Leo Duet with Vivian. (May or maynot work but I definitely enjoy it !!!)

Overall this album worth exploring.

Good job Leo !!!!

Worth to buy the original Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I'm the guy who is buying originals only when I love most of the tracks. For those who know me, I'm really selective on the music I listen. Just to name some of my favorite singers: Jacky Cheung, Eason Chan, Leehom Wang, Jay Chou and David Tao. The last time I bought an original album from Leo was "Fun Lok Gam Siu" (Let's be happy tonight) which is almost 10 years ago. After listening to all tracks of his new album, I was pleased with most of all tracks and notice that he made a lot of improvements and gain maturity and strength in his voice. The package comes with the duet with Vivian Chow track which is MUST to add in your duet collection (the only inconvenient is that they put this single track in another CD which is absolutely absurd and a waste... just a marketing strategy!!!) and a music movie of an hour and an MV of the solo version of the duet song. The movie quality is pretty good. I really felt that they put a lot of efforts and heart on the making of this album. Recommended tracks: #1, #2, #3, #4, #7.
Highly recommended: #5, #8, #9.
I recommend to watch the music movie first before listening to the CD. You will have a different feeling when listening to the album after.
