Summer is upon us, and the SM Entertainment family is once again presenting their all-star seasonal compilation. The biggest stars under the SM label, including Dong Bang Shin Ki, Super Junior, Kang Ta, Cheon Sang Ji Hee The Grace, and BoA, have come together for the highly anticipated 2007 Summer SM Town. This time the 11-track album consists of remakes of popular summer hits, kicking off with the energetic SM Town number "Let's Go On Vacation" (Track 2) which unites the vocals of all 27 artists in the SM family. Super Junior covers H.O.T's hit song "Happiness" (Track 3), TVXQ takes on Lee Jung Hyun's "Summer Christmas Evening" (Track 5), and BoA and SuJu's Shin Dong team up for the classic "Eve's Warning" (Track 4). Other songs to look forward to include CSJH The Grace's version of Uhm Jung Hwa's Festival (Track 7) and even a remake of Disney song Under the Sea. 2007 Summer SM Town is surely the musical highlight of this long and sizzling summer!

이번 앨범은 인기 여름 노래들을 새롭게 리메이크해 지난 여름 추억을 떠올리기 충분하다. 타이틀곡 ‘여행을 떠나요’는 국민가수 조용필의 명곡을 리메이크한 것으로, 신나는 리듬과 SMTOWN 멤버 각각의 개성이 담긴 목소리가 어우러져 여름 분위기를 물씬 느낄 수 있다. 또한 그룹별 노래뿐만 아니라 SMTOWN 멤버들의 크로스 만남의 새로운 시도까지 다양한 분위기의 총 11곡을 수록해 팬들의 뜨거운 반응이 기대된다.

I liked this one... Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I usually don't like all the songs for the SMTown cds, but for this one, I liked most of them.

BoA and Shindong's 'Eve's Warning' was my favorite track to listen to.

'Tie Clam Shells' is so soothing to hear (especially Junsu's voice in the forefront)

and I loved the 'Under the Sea' remake. This song just screams Teukie! (Eeteuk from Suju).


This album brought me many smiles this past summer... I just thought that I'd share that. ^_^

I really do feel as though SM Town honestly ran out of ideas with this album. Nearly all of the songs are simply just remakes, and although some of them sound good, it was a little disappointing. I really wished BoA did a song by herself.

I think SM Ent. tried to make up for the disappointing songs by making the album cover look so good. Which it does, I might add. xP

Adding to what meredith lee said, the signature song is basically like their other SM Town summer signature songs, fast, catchy and upbeat.

All in all, the album itself was good, the songs were good also, I just would of preferred it a lot more if SM Ent. came up with more original songs. ^__^

Great Winter Album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
SM gave me a suprise with coming out with a slow ballad song, i actually love this song because it has lot's of meaning and it's great for winter.
All of the songs are very lovely, especially BoA, DBSK, Suju and SNSD songs. I just can't get enough of it. Great work!!

@Jenny - How low can you go? If you don't like DBSK's song then don't listen to their song. And go somewhere and bash other artistes, this isn't a place for you to critisize others.

Better than 2006 Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I actually like this summer album better than last year's. Although they are all remakes, I never listened to them before so it's refreshing to me. I enjoy listening to all of the songs, especially "Haengbok", Under the Sea" and "Leave for Vacation". The packaging is awesome, and I loved the polaroid concept! more original than the previous covers I think :)

A few good songs.
Nothing great in particular.
I'd have to say the album cover is better than the songs themselves.
