YesAsia Editorial Description

Period swordplay drama Big Shot, adapted from a renowned Gu Long novel, teams up singer/actor Nicholas Tse, acclaimed actress Angelica Lee (Re-cycle), and Mainland rising star Yan Kuan. In her first costume role, Angelica Lee shows a beauty and charm different from that of her many acclaimed contemporary movies. Nicholas Tse, who demonstrated his potential in the swordplay drama Proud of Twins, again portrays a charismatic swordsman. Handsome Yan Kuan plays an up-and-coming hero, no less impressive than the rest of the main cast, in this dynamic drama.

Young girl Tien Sisi (Angelica Lee), born with a silver spoon, always wants to meet Qin, whom she has heard to be a great hero. When she sets out on her journey, she meets the handsome but sometimes melancholic swordsman Yang Fan (Nicholas Tse). They share happy and sad moments together, and together they embark on adventures in a milieu where danger can appear at any time...

GREAT SERIES Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I watched this before on when I had it on satellite TV... great series. Good action. Nicholas Tse proved his ability in WuXia dramas. In my dialect which is neither Cantonese or Mandarin, I would say this series is "fueng xer da ren ma hao da thao CG shang xia."That meant "An excellent use of action without too many fake imitations called CG (computer graphics). Luckily, I understand both Mandarin and Cantonese pretty well so I have no complaints about the language that it's in. Anyways... even if, I still agree with the others... the DVD would make more sales if it had english subtitles and cantonese dialect because a majority of chinese people living in the U.S can't read CHINESE.

English Subtitles? Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
You want English subtitles? I noticed the way it works is: when they come out with the cantonese/mandarin version, that's when they will have Engilsh subtitles. So gotta wait another 6 months for cantonese and english subs and pay extra $20-30 more! I want to buy Wing Chun but same situation, gotta wait like 6 months for cantonese one!

English Sub title Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I agree with everyone here. This serie will probably double its sale if it were english sub-title. I'm also looking forward to seeing this movie in ENGLISH SUB-TITLE soon.
