繼台劇和日劇版之後，KBS電視台於2009年1月初播出《Boys Over Flowers》(劇名︰花樣男子)以來，收視屢創新高，全國收視率更高達35.5%，成為收視冠軍。劇中的四位美男子F4由《我們學校的ET》李敏鎬、SS501成員金賢重、《考死》金範、來自T-max的金俊分別扮演道明寺司(具俊表)、花澤類(尹智厚)、西門總二郎(蘇易正)和美作玲(宋宇彬)，至於平民少女牧野杉菜(金絲草)由《王與我》具惠善主演。

改編自日本漫畫家神尾葉子的同名漫畫，《花樣男子》講述平民少女金絲草(具惠善飾)入讀的貴族學校「神話學院」，以全國最大企業神話集團少爺具俊表(李敏鎬飾)為首的F4，和三位成員尹智厚(金賢重飾)、蘇易正(金範飾)、宋宇彬(金俊飾)在校內享有至高無上的地位，誰知金絲草一入學已得罪了F4，她唯有不畏強權挑戰四位富家少爺，在無意之間吸引了具俊表的注意，但金絲草卻對尹智厚情有獨鍾……

KBS《花樣男子》播出以來深受觀眾歡迎，新一代韓國F4與杉菜也人氣急升，劇中飾演的李敏鎬和金賢重在第45屆百想藝術大獎分別獲「最佳男新人獎」和「最佳人氣獎」，演技備受肯定。此外，劇組還邀集了《少年阿虎》金賢珠演道明寺姐姐姜熙淑，《達子的春天》李慧英為道明寺家族的女主人，《火花遊戲》韓彩英扮花澤類的初戀情人閔瑞賢等特別演出。
