Great, MUCH better than Universe and Dejavu Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I got the album expecting to be disappointed (I really didn't like Universe and Dejavu). However, I wasn't and was pleasantly surprised. I love Ko-so Ko-so and IN THE AIR especially. Boom Boom Boys is a highly addicting song, and you don't even have to watch the video to feel like you're high on some drug. This album overall shows her darker, wilder side; watch Boom Boom Boys, Lay Down, and VIP and you'll see how. The only problem I have with it is the featuring of Omarion and T-Pain. I feel they pale in comparison to Kuu when it comes to talent. What I am disappointed in the most is Slow, which I want to like more and still listen to because of the melody and her vocals (though very auto-tuned, another disappointment), but I think Omarion does not belong in the song. The song would do much better without his rap part which contains profanity, sullying the beauty of the ballad. I hope that after she comes back from "maternity leave," she would make better songs that are less influenced by American music. Everything that she sang up until Universe was very much "Kuu"--it was her style and distinctively hers. I hope she can go back to being Kuu.

Haven't Been This Excited Since Black Cherry! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Truly! Even TRICK didn't have me this pumped up! I wanna say this is right up there with grow into one. Maybe I'm being biased because I've been a fan for 10 years, but this is Koochan at her best!

The introduction leads you right into JAPONESQUE with a beautiful Japanese vibe. The instruments are classic Japan. So Nice feat. Mr. Blistah's follows and it does remind me of Candy feat. Mr. Blistah (2006). Not a bad thing! This song is just epic. I love Clench & Blistah, so this works! Next up is Boom Boom Boys, which is growing to be my favourite song from the album! The song's a rock genre and it's just epic. Even her English flows very well with the song and I keep singing the chorus!

V.I.P. feat. T-PAIN I'm not that fond of, to be honest. I love V.I.P from 4 TIMES, but this...T-PAIN just ruins the song. It sounds like his voice was just thrown in. He's not even in the PV for it. Slow feat. Omarion redeems it, though! I love Omarion (and have since 2004) and he was in the PV for this! His voice works well with Koochan's, so he doesn't seem out of place. Brave is the first soft ballad on the album and, much like Kuu's other ballads, it has you ready to bawl. Kinda sounds like 1000 no Kotoba (2003) meets come back (2001). Everyday is the first pop song off of the album and is just...cute! Classic Kuu! "Everyday kanashi toki mo!" The acoustic version of You are not alone doesn't sound as heart-wrenching at the single version, but it makes you not want to give up on anything. No matter the struggle, you're not alone!

The interlude is, again, classic Japanese vibe - feudal era. Then...ESCALATE! Another song I was dying to hear! The full version lives up to the preview! Koda Kumi really is maturing and this shows it more than TRICK! Love Me Back is still epic! No Mans Land is another rock song that starts off kinda like a Linkin Park song (subtle, following by hard rifts). I love rock-Kuu! She makes it SOUND sexy! Next new song is Lay Down, which fits with ESCALATE and Boom Boom Boys. Koda Kumi's getting into the clubbing music and it's working so perfectly! Love Technique, another pop song, follows and is just adorable! Think Koi no Tsubomi (2006) mixed with D.D.D. feat. SOULHEAD (2005). Lastly is All for you, which she wrote specifically for her fans. This just makes me cry. She cares about her fans so much and dedicates this to everyone for sticking with her through everything.

Fan or not, this album is amazing!
