not too bad
|
good thing,,he finally gave up on that "1,2,3,4,5,6,7" intro, which is good. that's been used for too long. "24/7" is filled with good songs.-i waited for Se7en's 3rd album for soooo long! tracks 2,3,&7 have addictive beats & melody. the music video clip for track 2 is fun to watch, too. you can see his muscular body..haha a big change in style-physically and also musically... that is,,in "24/7", he sounds too americanized...with excessive raps and familiar beats..is he making a progress ..or what?-a bit of disappointment.. his 2nd album, "Must Listen" is better in terms of originality.. since this is the trend in korean hip-hop and r&b scene..can't help it. Se7en's still cute and the album is filled with okay songs to listen to. i personally like his debut album in japan,"First Se7en" better. |

dang boy can SING.
|
I don't know why people is talking about this boy can't sing... DANG THIS BOY CAN SING. His singing actually IMPROVED A LOT ever since his debut. In one of his songs that he wrote with Wheesung, he really sounds like Wheesung.. Serious. Check that one out ^^ People might think it's "Americanized" .. but that's cuz basically... YG Ent has a lot of american influence cuz they are kind of.. american...(well Teddy kind-of is... ) Anyway, this album is more hip-hop than his other albums, which were kind of too pop for me. It's a good listen, too, especially cuz Teddy (from 1tym) produced/composed a lot of the songs.. some of the tracks are kind of bland in my opinion, but overall, it's a good listen to !!~ |

Not Bad
| I've read some of the reviews by others and to be fair, it really depends on what kind of music you like. The people that scored this album lower don't seem to like hip hop and they prefer Se7en singing ballads and Koren pop. There's nothing wrong with that. It's just their preference. However, I do need to give Se7en credit for the amount of work that went into this album. It is a good album if you like a variety of music. If you like listening to hip hop, ballads, and pop, you'll find this album worth buying because it has a little of everything. The hip hop songs are decent. The slow songs are nice. This album is a collaboration of many artists and it includes music from several genres. I think many of Se7en's fans can appreciate his attempt to make a bigger impact in hip hop, as long as he churns out decent hip hop songs...and I believe he's done that in this album. His fans can also appreciate that he retained some of the K-pop and slow songs he's known for. Adding the so called "Americanized" hip hop style just allows him to appeal to a wider range of audience. There's something for everyone in this album. |

GOOD MUSIC!!!! MUST LISTEN!!!
|
This album is good. A lot of new sounding addictive beats, and fast rythme. There are also a good amount of slow songs(about 6). His smooth vocals shine in many of his songs through out the album. There is one person who said, "don't listen"? He should be writing bad reviews about all albums if he thinks you shouldn't listen to this album. |

Must Listen? Sorry, Don't Listen
Must Listen? Sorry, Don't Listen
| I believe as an artist, Se7en has much more to offer in regards to his vocal capabilities in this 3rd album. His first album was good but really shinned in his sophomore album "Must Listen." "Must Listen" only shows more of the Se7en we know, but better in terms of his voice and style. Se7en somehow had a style different from the others which separated him from the rest of the crowd. Not to mention his smooth voice which carried from one verse to the next like silk sheets. However, in his latest album, "24/7" is a bit of a disappointment. He drifted from his own style and attempts to imitate other artists. Perhaps one can't blame him; as this is his 3rd album he was in need of something new. Just as other artist, Se7en imported a style that is popular in America, hip-hop. Hip-hop itself in America has evolved into something else. Lets just say most of the hip-hop music in America after the year 2000 isn't really worth listening to. Perhaps one can tell he attempts to blend in with the "new" music. Nonetheless, many will love this album, however there are some like me who only put a few points on the scoreboard since a few songs were appealing. Again, Se7en has so much more potential to offer but the media has portrayed the music/style of hip-hop so well that forces artist who are from different genre to cross into the line of hip-hop. Is this like his previous album? No, Dont Listen |

Not all that great
| going along with this album being really "americanized", these songs don't have the vocals. the beats are there of course, but thats about it. se7en sounds alright singing these types of songs, but he's not a good singer. kind of like usher, he's not that great of a singer, but for the types of songs he sings he sounds good. i'm pretty disappointed with this new 24/7 album, too much computer music and not enough originality. |

FANTASTIC!
|
omg, THIS IS THE BEST KOREAN ALBUM IVE HEARD SO FAR! i have just got into listening 2 korean music from tv dramas and i discovered se7en. am i glad that i did! i heard rain first as he's very popular but i think he's more of a dancer than a singer. if u like him then you would LOVE se7en! he can dance, sing and is much better than rain! he's so talented with an amazing vocal range (he always insists on singing live never lip-syncing which is wot most singers do these days). i love all 3 albums as they're different in so many ways that you're neva spoilt for choice. his newest album hasn't left my cd player and there isn't a song that isn't good. i especially love tracks: 2,3,4,5,7,9,10,11,16,17! but they're all great. CHECK IT OUT! |

se7en's music too 'Americanized'
| in my very opinion, Se7en's latest album (24/7) is too 'Americanized.' It doesnt have the originality at all. He should has his own style than copying other american artists such as Justin Timberlake and Usher Raymonds. His vocal skill has decline compare to his previous albums. Those songs in the latest album doesnt allow Se7en to show his full potential in vocal. I hope in his fouth album he will sing something more 'Korean' instead. |
