2NE1 is ON FIRE! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Oh definitely my new favorite girl band of all time! They all are so different from typical girl bands in Korea; they're fierce and have amazing rapping and vocal skills. 2NE1 is my choice for a best newcomer this year, both for boy and girl bands! I Don't Care and Let's Go Party along with Lollipop are my favorites from this album! 2NE1 for the win!!

Sorry to Min and other 2NE1 fans for confusing Minzy with Dara as the good singer in the group. I agree with you Min that you shouldn't compare them to BB beacuase they really are nothing like them but I was just following on from previous reviewers who had compared the two groups. I have listened to the album some more times and I still agree with 2pmbeast, alright songs but nothing special. Maybe they will improve with experience....

Holly , if u listen closely and watch their live performance u can noctice that the two real good singers are CL and
Minzy, not Dara. i think CL and Minzy are the most talented, despite the fact that they were about 7-10 years younger,
they all can rap and can dance very well in live, you should check out their new solo song "please don't go" in the live
performance of MAMA.
I like these girls but i dont want to compare them to Bigbang, because they are different and i hate to call them the femal
version of bigbang, but they are doing great so far, can't wait for their new album and Taeyang's solo album, i am a
massive VIP too lol.

Even though the songs were very creative and had good beats i still felt the songs were rather boring and never really listened to the song with a kind of feel. however if your a r/b fan then isuggest you might try buying it. overall it was just alright for me. not exactly a fan of this mini album, hoping 2ne1's next album is better.

Bigbang they are not Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Being a massive Bigbang fan I was so excited to get to listen to the supposed girl version of those K pop hotties!!!! After reading the positive reviews I immediately brought a copy. However I have to say that Bigbang these girls are not. Now don't get me wrong their songs are okay, none of them are terrible but only two of them stand out as something original and different the first being Pretty Boy and the second Lollipop, alhtough I think I only really like Lollipop because suprize, suprize it features Bigbang!!!!! To me these girls don't really push the boundries or try to do something new and fresh, there songs sound the same and although they are perfectly fine songs they don't go that extra mile to being brilliant. I also think that only two of the group are really good singers, I think its CL and Dara, the other two don't seem to really come across in the songs and I think that CL is a better singer than rapper. Overall these girl's look great (a good photo book is included) but I don't think they sound great ... just yet! This is only their first mini album so there is plenty of time for them to perfect their sound and image....good luck to them I say but give me the Bang boys any day!!!!

First time i heard of them was when i was looking for some bigbang songs... :D i was actually sooo impressed with the Lollipop MV that i just had to look them up entirely.

Since i got the CD i always have it on playback and its become my favorite to drive around and listen to with all my friends.

Every single song is absolutely great. Love the beats and the girls of course. :D

I totally recommend this album. I know that in the future all we can expect from them is good good things.

To all of you guys and girls out there, that are open to listening to some Korean pop or music. I highly recommend that you buy this album. It's one of those album that has tons of songs that you never get tired listening to, after listening to it almost everyday (like my sister does) or 100 times, I guarantee you that it will never get old. I like how even though most of the songs in this album is about a girl loosing her boyfriend, it does not sound that depressing.

After seeing and listening to their commercial for "Lollipop" with big bang collaboration. i think this girls really showed what true professional are (even though they haven't even debuted at that time). It really had a very catchy tune to it. Their first song called "Fire" was really very strong and catchy for a beginners which is a good thing and it really did get a lot of attention from the viewers. Also the music video is very cool. The song " I don't care" which came out in three version ( I think the last version or what others called the unplugged or reggae is my favorite version) is one of my favorite song in this album. I gave credit to Dara unnie for doing a good job acting in the music video ( you guys should watch it). "In the club" was slow but has an RnB feeling to it, very soothing but you can still dance to it. "Let's go party" was very entertaining to me specially the beginning part were everyone said "let's go party" in different language (Cl in french, Minzy in Japanese, Dara in Tagalog and Boom in Korean). "Pretty boy" which they used to introduced everyone in the group has a hip hop feeling to it and it makes you want to dance. And last but not definitely the least "Stay together" has a hip hop with RnB feeling to it very pleasant to hear.

Everyone in the group contributed a lot that made this album the best and the best girl group i have seen. Cl is really good at transferring from rapping to singing reggae specially in " I don't care". Minzy at such a young age, all I can say is that she is a very talented girl in dancing and singing. Dara is such a cutie pie but you better watch out cause if she gets you, you will be totally suck in to her cuteness. Boom is such a good singer. No wonder YG Entertainment recruited this group and made it into a group of blooming flowers and talents that are yet to be seen by the whole world. So if you guys have not bought this album or at least listened to it, you are missing how wonderful music is.

I enjoy listening to the songs in this CD sooo much. The pictures in the booklet are pretty too. I am soo waiting for their full length album:D They all have their own charms. 2NE1 truly is the new evolution. They ROCK! Hwaiting!!!

I love this album..I always been a fan of dara..even when she was in the philippines..i really support her..she's amazing..i love this album not only because there is dara..but all the girls are so talented..
all the songs are amazing from the first fire to stay together and lollipop with big bang...
the cd is so nice the case is so original..is very shiny and it's like a box..so it can protect the cd and the photobook inside..i love this..it worth my money ^^

I first heard about 2NE1 when their music video for Fire came out, and I have been a fan ever since. They are really talented performers, and not just pretty faces dancing for the camera. It's an upbeat album, more hip hop/club tunes than pop, and all of the tracks are dance-worthy.

Fire is such an addictive song (I've listened to it about 100 times already), and I Don't Care is probably my favorite song from the album. The chorus from In the Club is really catchy, and although I didn't really care for Lollipop the first ten times I heard it, it grows on you after awhile. All the other tracks make for a solid first album, and in my opinion these songs could easily be played here on US radio (or anywhere else for that matter).

If they keep putting out albums like this, these girls are gonna be international superstars!
