　　The tenth instalment in the Tora-san series. Tora-san comes back to his old home in Shibamata. His university professor Mr Okakura (Masakane Yonekura) suddenly arrives at his home which makes Tora-san so angry that he plans to leave home. However, his old friend Chiyo (Kaoru Yachigusa) comes to visit him. The two of them begins to reminisce about old times, and has developed a kind of bonding between them. At the same time, Mr Okakura has become attracted to Chiyo, which makes this the first ever love triangle for Tora-san. Superstar Kinuyo Tanaka has a special appearance in this film.

"Tora-San's Dream Come True", the tenth Tora-San film, is one of the essential films in the series and provides a good introduction for those who have not previously seen a Tora-San film.

The film opens with a hilarious dream sequence featuring 'Tora of Macao' coming to the rescue of poor, downtrodden Sakura and Hiroshi. Upon waking from his dream, Tora returns home to Shibamata. He and his family agree that it is time for him to get married. The family then undertakes to seek a bride for him. Unfortunately, as soon as Tora's name is breathed, the family of the prospective bride loses interest. Humiliated by this failure, Tora gets into a fight with his family and leaves with his wounded pride.

Upon a subsequent return, he finds that his room has been rented out to a brainiac college professor, a relative of the local priest. Tora is about to storm off in a huff when he encounters Sakura's old friend, a beautiful divorcee who has returned to the neighborhood to run a beauty shop. Naturally, Tora immediately is interested in her.

The relationship between Tora and the woman grows complex. Tora clearly likes her very much, but he believes that she loves the introverted college professor. Tora seeks to hook them up. Ultimately, Tora tries to give the woman a marriage proposal on the professor's behalf. The woman accepts, but she has misunderstood -- she believes that she is accepting a marriage proposal from Tora himself.

When Tora understands what has happened, his reaction is priceless, a beautiful piece of acting by Atsumi Kiyoshi. Has Tora finally found his match? Will he now embrace wedded bliss? Watch this warm-hearted, charming, and funny film to find out. I recommend "Tora-San's Dream Comes True" very, very highly.
