Hong Kong top singer Leon Lai, a first time director, makes the music movie A Melody Looking starring all the stars under his music label. Apart from Leon himself, the twin sisters Janice and Jill Vidal, Chapman To, Charles Ying, and new talent Emily all appear in A Melody Looking. This 80-minute beautifully made movie, all shot in New York, also features the latest songs by these popular singers, making A Melody Looking an enjoyable piece in both the visual and audio aspects.
The story starts with a 16-year-old girl's search for Janice, who, reportedly, possesses a perfect voice. She seeks assistance from a detective named Leon and his assistant Charles, and they mix up Janice and her sister Jill... Leon Lai has shown great interest in films all along. After producing Leaving Me Loving You which stars himself and Faye Wong, he also released A Story in 2005 with a short music film. Now his dream of becoming a director finally comes true!
The collectible edition also comes with making-of features, the MV for Janice's latest song, plus singers' postcards.

| Starts off a little slow, but the ending is hilarious!!! As always with Director LL, every scene is amazingly "pretty"!!! The songs are great! It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it, something a little different to the usual HK releases! |
