My first Tsukiko album...
| And it's really good! Not perfect, dare I say, but it's good. I don't really have much to say about this album. A few tracks were really memorable (Koe, Joker Joe, and a few others). Not to mention the cover is awesome. |

Not as Good as I'd Hoped
| I honestly never thought that I would ever give one of Tsukiko's albums a less than perfect score. However, this album wasn't as good as her previous works. This is not to say the album is bad. Koe and a few other tracks are enjoyable. There just aren't any stand-out tracks for me this time. Also the cd doesn't have that edge to it that Sharon Stones, and Meg Lion had. It seems as though Tsukiko's albums are getting a more mainstream sound, rather than her old school rock. Maybe if I listen to the cd more, then I might think differently. These are just my opinions after the 2nd listening. If you are a fan of Tsukiko, then by all means check it out. As I said the album is enjoyable. I hope her future albums will be more of her older sound, or maybe heavier. I liked it better when Tsukiko did her own thing. |
