A Place Of One's Own (VCD) (End) (TVB Drama) VCD

A TV drama set in the scenic village of Tai O in Hong Kong! Famous for producing shrimp paste and salted fish, Tai O is known as "Hong Kong's Venice" because of its crisscrossing waterways. The drama starts with investment banker Chit (Lawrence Ng), whose father owns a piece of land in Tai O, resigning from his company. He decides to sell his father's realty to finance his own business. With a friend and business partner Cheong (played by the TV comedian Louis Yuen Siu-Cheung), Chit visits Tai O to prepare for the selling. But they discover that a shrimp paste factory owned by the head of village (Yuen Wah from Kung Fu Hustle) now occupies the place! Failing to raise any evidence to prove Chit's ownership, the two young entrepreneurs can only stay in the village to wait for the return of an old man who can testify for them. But soon Chit and Cheong fall in love with the village head's daughters (Nnadia Chan, Marianne Chan)...

　　哲(吳啟華)本於投資公司工作，少年得志，甚得公司器重。不料，一次投資失當，頓遭投閒置散。哲決自立門戶，幹一番事業，為籌備資金，哲計劃把其父於大澳的地皮出售，更與好友昌(阮兆祥)親往大澳視察環境，因而認識了鄉委會主席根(元華)及其三個女兒：開心(陳松伶)、歡喜(陳妙瑛)及快樂(林芷筠)。

　　原來根祖傳的蝦膏廠正佔用了哲父的地皮，但哲卻苦無證據證明地皮乃其父所有，只好隱藏身分暫居大澳，靜待唯一知道真相的忠伯回來。期間，哲與模特兒女友淇(吳美珩)鬧不快而分手，更與開心由友情發展成情侶，而昌亦與歡喜展開一段微妙的感情……


註：由於母帶已製作經年，故在製作VCD的過程中，必須進行調色、重新配樂及剪輯等後期工作。但所有後期工作均在有必要的情況下進行，並以不影響劇情為原則。
