first sight of jay Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
i heard his later albums before i heard this one.
much prefer his later albums. thankfully his voice has improved a lot.
can hear him straining his voice throughout this album. i almost think he should do a re-recording of this first album with his improved singing ability.
but i always like his music arrangement. catchy, and distinct.

This album is da bomb. Jay's first and finest piece of work ever. I still listen to it a lot even though I have all his albums up-to-date. Get it!

i'm chinese but i don't speak chinese that much. i am more english-y and i prefer english music too. i don't like chinese music at all so buying a jay chou album is a big deal for me. This album is great and jay is so talented so you should get one too. if you don't, you don't know what you're missing! i'd give this album 6 stars if i could.

Jay is excellent and he the first mandarin singer i have ever liked. His lyrics are wicked and his songs are unique, and he has god given talent with the piano. He is the Alecia Keys of Taiwan!
