Essential 90s Jung Hwa Uhm!

Another music CD that’s been hot on my CD player of late (along with Brown Eyed Girls “My Style” mini album and the great “Over the Rainbow” Korean Drama TV OST) is this (equally great!) compilation of Jung Hwa's dance music that showcases selections from her first 5 albums from the late 90s. And what an absolute gem of a CD this is! If you have purchased the recent “Wonder Girls” CDs and are looking for something similar in sound (or love techno dance sounds) - this, albeit nostalgic last century dance jive, will be your heavenly little garden of dance driven delights! I highly recommend this CD to all lovers of K-pop that may have missed JHU's music initially! “All Details” features a heady mix of infectious synthetik pop, disco rhythms plus a couple of heartfelt ballads and overall is a fantastic never ceasing in quality compilation album - and a perfect intro to JHU's sound! From the Christmasy feel of track 1, to super charged synth pop/disco dance club songs of 2 and 3, a gorgeous and melancholic ballad 4 - just for starters! Perpetual sounds of disco, funk, dance, electronica, ballad, light rap, sax (trk 9), make for an highly charged dance album by the rest of this complications set. Jung Hwa's emotively mixed vocals of innocent fragility alongside upbeat tempo dance power are a heady mix too! The booklet includes a discography with little thumbnails of the 5 original albums the songs are taken from - so if ever you wish to hunt for the original albums, this CD gives a good pictorial reference. Sadly though only Jung Hwa’s No. 3 album seems to be currently available. I'm also recommending this CD to anyone who as not heard UHM's music before. So if you may have seen plenty of Jung Hwa’s movies such as “Seducing Mr Perfect”, “Singles” or “Princess Aurora”, but have never realized (or tried) her super musical sounds, talent and style - this is certainly the album to try without a shadow of a doubt. Its a CD you just won’t stop playing after hearing it, with every Nostalgic 90s sound here a perfect slab of fantastic! File under : Brilliant Disco/ Dance Club Electronicia Dance Machine Compilation - and one K-pop album you just cannot afford to be without! An essential buy. |

Uhm Jung Hwa Is Major Quality!!
| You don't need me to tell you just how enjoyable and addictive Uhm Jung Hwa's music is.., but I will! This album's songs are mostly quick paced, catchy and will put the dance back into your step! There are three or four slower songs to provide a nicely rounded album..! Purchase "All Details" and you will enjoy it for a long time!! ^0^ |
