Ambition, a masterpieces by famous producer Poon Ka Tak, features a popular cast including Gallen Lo, Michael Tao, Amy Kwok, Noel Leung, etc. The story evolves around Cheung Man Wai (Gallen Lo), a young man with high ambitions who is very eager to climb up the social ladder by all means. In order to achieve his goal, he doesn't mind to cheat his friends, betray his loved ones, and even kill a few people. Rarely do we see a villain at the center of a TV drama. Gallen Lo usually plays good and honest guys in the earlier stage of his career. Cheung Man Wai is among the few villain roles that he has played before his glamorous and well-known portrayal as the evil Tsui Ka Lap in Cold Blood Warm Heart. Michael Tao plays the role of a righteous cop, an equivalent to his most popular role as Cheung Dai Yung in the Defective Investigation Files series. Amy Kwok, a new actress at that time, puts herself in a big challenge by playing a pair of twin sisters who have totally different characters. Miss Hong Kong Pageant Noel Leung also takes up a role in this exciting suspense drama.
