Almost Anna Karenina Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I always loved this movie. I always loved both lead actors. They played most difficult scenes that could have been horrible but they made the story real and possible to believe. I felt so sorry for the woman who was slowly congealing in her cold and boring lonely life. What a miserable man her husband must have been. I would think an arranged marriage. The sadness was for her son, but even there it seemed the emotions were not strong between them. He was his father's son and would inevitably live a life similar as he grew older. Her life then would be worthless I would think. The meeting between this woman and her sister's fiancee was like putting a match to a can of petrol. Instant combustion and it was something that was definitely more than a sexual fling. It turned into deep emotion which she needed at that time in her life. He was the right man to bring her back to life as a woman after being in a cold place for so long. This is a film well worth seeing and watching more than once.

Stay away from this bomb Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
"An Affair" is an unoriginal, tedious adultery film. A 27 year old man returns to Korea from America to get settled before marrying his fiance, who will be returning from America in a few weeks. His fiance's sister, who is 38 years old, married, and a mother of a boy, agrees to help him find an apartment. While doing so, they develop the hots for each other and end up in the sack together. Repeatedly.

Let me ask you: Can you imagine having an affair with your sister's fiance (or, on the flip side, with your fiance's sister)? Can you imagine having an affair that could ruin your marriage, cost you your child, and destroy your sister all at the same time?

The story unfolds in slow motion and the lead actors seem to be under the effect of heavy sedation. I cannot recommend this plodding snoozer to anyone.

Whoa... nice ha Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Although the story is something that i have seen before in so many dramas, i would still like to say that this movie is worth watching.

Lee MinSook and Lee Jung Jae acted well in this film. The scene when they had first the affair is something that is acted well, the breathing, the pacing .. all of it. Its a great drama.

Ending??? you get a copy and find out.

A movie by a good director and actors Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I saw "An Affair" with such pleasure that I felt
compelled to write a few comments.
First, the story is an interesting one. Mi-Sook Lee's
portrayal of a middle aged, upper-middle class woman
living a stifling and unfulfilled life is superlative!
For a forty plus woman, she is amazingly beautiful
and interesting to look at. You should see her in
"untold Scandal" to understand what an excellent actress she is. I hope she continues to take interesting roles for many years to come.
I always like Lee Jung Jae. Not only he has a model
like body and walk, his face and his acting always exudes a certain kind of passion and sincerity which is very attractive. I recall he is also excellent
in both "Last Present" with Lee Young Ae and "Interview" with Shim Eun Ha. A really good movie this is!
I am looking forward to director E J-Yong's future new movies. Also more movies by Lee Mi-Sook and
Lee Jung Jae.

Lee Jung Jae(the actor)'s image still always in my Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It is a normal story bur it is v.touching.A 38 years old housewife(she is boring and lonely)met a 27 years old young man. They met at a wrong time and wrong place. They love with quility. So touching,it is a part of life(for the 20's men & Women).
Lee Jung Jae is such impressive,I thought this moive was a breakthrough for his way to success.
Ending,Nobody knows, the actor will meet the actress in the airpane or not,but I love the story ,it is touching. Really, don't miss it.
