book > wall
The wall calendar itself was a disappointment. it was wrinkled too because it had to be curled up to fit inside the box. Not a lot of pictures and to be honest the style the pictures were something i didn't really want to put up on my wall in plain sight of everyone cause of the naked-ness. . . The book was better than I had imagined it based on other people's comments. I guess the quality could be better in those pictures, but I'm quite pleased with the book itself. More so than the wall calendar. But, as it is probably their last calendar, it is still a must have collectible. |

Final calendar
This is the final calendar of Arashi. I have to say, I expected a bit more since it's their 10th year and all. I liked that it came with two versions, one pocket and one wall.. but I thought there was going to be some more..since it's their final and all. We get to see some more.. what to call it.. sexy side of the boys. But some of the photos are not so good, I'm talking about the quality of course. I wonder why? They used a good photographer and all.. Well.. it's a must for Arashi fans!! |

A disappointment if not for the bonus
This would be great if I was rating it for the bonus hard cover photo book that came with it, because the shots are well taken and the book itself is pretty nifty. However, I bought this expecting to gush over the calendar itself and not the photo book. The calendar (and packaging) pales in comparison to Kanjani8's 2009-2010 calendar...greatly. I cannot stress that enough. I was disappointed because even paying the pre-order price, I honestly felt I didn't get what I paid for. The calendar looks semi-cheap and the the calendar shots of our Arashi boys didn't look all that great...IMO at least. And now after pre-order price, at a pricey $46, it's even more not worth it. Unless you plan on getting this for the bonus photo book, I strongly urge you to skip this one altogether and spend the money on a DVD/Album instead. |
