ローリング・ストーンズやエリック・クラプトンらに多大な影響を与えた"ブリティッシュ・ブルースの父"、アレクシス・コーナー。本作には、1983年にロンドンの老舗クラブ、マーキーの25周年を祝うスペシャル・ライブに登場した彼のパフォーマンスを収録。共にステージに立ったのはローリング・ストーンズのビル・ワイマンとチャーリー・ワッツら豪華な面々。このライブの数ヵ月後にコーナーは帰らぬ人となってしまい、ブルース・インコープレイテッドを結成した当時、頻繁に出演していたマーキーのステージも、これが最後の出演となってしまった。アレクシス・コーナーの晩年の姿を見る事ができる、ファンには涙ものの1枚である。
