Not bad... Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I was repeatedly led to believe that this album was going to be a vocal trance album, but once I recieved it I realized it's actually a DANCE album, which was dissapointing.

However, I'm still satisfied with this product.

Pros:
- Ami's vocals are rich, slightly husky, and really pleasant.
- Most of the tunes/rhythms are very catchy, uplifiting, and fun.

Cons:
- Ami's "Engrish", or bad attempt at english. It's sounds silly.
- The album lacks the maturity and subtlety of a trance album. In other words, the songs can get obnoxious/overly bold, overly simple, and repetitive.

This album is just AMAZING.. There's no other word to describe it. It starts off with the title track "Around the World" which is a lyrical masterpiece and the music just puts you into another world. "Hopeful -OVERHEAD CHAMPION MIX -" is SO energetic and upbeat and when you see the MV you'll fall in love with it! "Beautiful" is more of a pop-ish fun song, but still has the trance-ish feel to it.. it's great! "Sweet voice" is a soft ballad, I don't think its very great but I definately would't call it BAD. Next is "Delightful" , this song is the biggest hit of the album and almost everyone loves it! Its a super upbeat extremely catchy song! "For yourself" is not trance-ish at all and is more along the lines of regular "pop" but it's still nice to listen to and it's a nice little break on the album from all the trance. "Negaigoto" is a nice ballad. "Risk" is another fun song and sounds very 80's. Next is "Eventful" , this is another song that's loved by many people and Ami even won a gold medal at the Taisho awards for this song. It's very awesome! =D "with you" is a nice song to listen to, but its nothing amazing. Next is "Times" .. This song is just AWESOME. It's definately one of the best. Then to finish off the album on a soft note, we have "I'm alone" . It's a soft ballad-type song but it's a different style from the others.. it's smooth and nice on the ears. The DVD that this comes with is to DIE FOR! It comes with 6 stunning PVs and two Making-Ofs. If you like Ami, or J-Pop in general, you NEED this album!!

I'm not a fan of Trance music, but Ami Suzuki defenitely made me appreciate it a little more. This CD is very upbeat and fun to dance to. Her vocals on the tracks are deep and steady. What makes this purchase really worth the money (besides the music of course) is the DVD that comes along with it. I absolutely loved it! Ami is an incredible dancer! She's so much fun to watch! The colors and choreography really bring the songs to life. Worth the buy if you love trance music or if you're an Ami Suzuki fan!

Both the CD and DVD are AMAZING. I can listen to the entire album without stopping. Each song is sung with so much passion and energy! Ami Suzuki's style is mainly techno/eurobeat which dance music fans will enjoy a little, in addition to Ami's passionate/deep vocals. I can't help but to sing along to songs like Hopeful, Around the World, Negaigoto, and etc. I never knew that Ami could dance so well, before watching the DVD! The eventful dance track was my favorite. Ami blends in hip-hop/para dance together wonderfully. Bonus off-shots are also included, so you can see the cute Ami in-making. The booklet is a little creepy to me, but that does not matter. Ami writes her own lyrics!! The lyrics are really meaningful too, if you read the Chinese translation. Take a trip w/ Ami Suzuki!!!

Simply Mind Blowing Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Ami Suzuki is by far one of Avex's most amazing 2005 debuts, if not the best one. Ami's voice is strong and deep, and of course filled with emotion. There is not one song on AROUND THE WORLD that will not make you want to get up and dance. Her unique trance-like style was caught my attention, not many artists do this unless it's remixed and here was this girl releasing an album containing alot of music similar to an "Ayu Trance" remix or such. When I first heard Delightful I was amazed at how she was able to create such a catchy dance track, it had me singing the tune over and over. The same can be said for other tracks on the album like AROUND THE WORLD, Beautiful, Hopeful and so on. This album is so worth what you pay for it if you are a trance music lover, I was waiting for the day someone would release an album like this and Ami gave me just what I asked for. I recomend this album 100 % to anyone who is thinking of purchasing it! You wont regret it.

Love Ami, love 'Around the World' Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I am a new fan of Suzuki Ami. I am very pleased with her deep voice, which sounds similar to Koda Kumi's. This single song is very good, another dance song with a mysterious aura.

Her #1 Avex Trax Album... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Wow! I loved all her Avex Trax singles which made me a fan of her ever since her "Delightful" release. This album, I know will be worth it! I bet Ami will bring us more Trance/ Techno songs on her 1st ever album release in Avex Trax!!! Go Ami!
