April 7, 2008 WOW! Great fun! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
If you are fan of really good movies from South Korea, then this is one film that you are going to want to buy. Movies like: My Scary Girl, My Wife Is A Gangster Trilogy, I'm A Cyborg But That's OK, Surprise, My Sassy Girl, Everybody Has Secrets, The Quiet Family and 200 Pounds Beauty are just really fun and exciting movies. "Punch Lady" fits right in with those. My wife, who is from Indonesia, and I were standing up and cheering for the female lead character in this film. Great film, great cast, superb performances: I MOST HIGHLY recommend this film!

January 14, 2008 Bone chilling Asian horror!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
For those of us that have been waiting for a truly frightening new Asian horror film like: "The Eye" and "Re-cycle" (Pang Brothers excellence), "Shutter" and "Alone" (Thai masterpieces), "A Tale of Two Sisters" (South Korean horror film that is the best of all time), our movie has arrived. "Epitaph" is simply a work of art and a terrifying, bone-chilling experience. This film can not be missed. There have been a lot of cliched Asian horror films as of late with the long-haired female ghost claiming victims. THIS FILM IS NOT ONE OF THOSE. This film is a trip to pure, hair-raising terror. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

November 9, 2007 Atmospheric, creepy and sad. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have collected Asian horror films from the 1950's like the movie "Ugetsu" up until present day films like "Re-cycle", "Shutter", "A Tale of Two Sisters", the "One Missed Call" trilogy, "Arang", "The Victim" and many, many others. "Alone" is from the fabulous duo that gave us the awesome, bone-chilling film "Shutter". Their new film is once again an awesome film. These dudes from Thailand, along with the Pang Brothers, are keeping Asian horror alive and fresh. "Alone" tells a very sad and emotional story of troubled Siamese twins. The film then gets real dark, creepy and atmospheric. This film is not your typical, cliched, long-haired female ghost horror film. This film has power, emotion and a surprising twist ending. Highly recommended!!!

April 20, 2007 Decent Asian Horror Film Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This film actually surprised me. Some other Asian countries are trying their hand at contemporary horror films in the ghost story sub-genre. Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Thailand are already on the map. "The Maid" put Singapore on the map; as well as "Sigaw" for the Philippines and "Naina" for India. Well, this film "Silk" has put Taiwan more on the map. There are quite a few effective scares in this film. It is always nice to watch the gorgeous Karena Lam (Koma, Inner Senses, Home Sweet Home). Grant it, this film is not "Shutter", "The Eye", "Ju-on", "Apartment", "Phone", "Dark Water", "One Missed Call", "Re-cycle", "Bunshinsaba", "Arang" or "Ringu". But this film is definitely worth checking out.

April 18, 2007 Popcorn fun; Twins style! Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
There is a correction to be made to the description. The lovely Twins did work together on another movie after "The Twins Effect II". That film is called "House Of Fury" with the legendary Anthony Wong. But, anyway, this film, "Twins Mission" is a decent popcorn-style movie. The Twins (Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi), are fun, beautiful and very talented. There is lots of action and comedy to enjoy. There are real life twins fighting all over the place in this movie. Yuen Wah is always hilarious. Sammo Hung is an added bonus. This film is not as good as the original "The Twins Effect" movie. But, it is worth a purchase. Just don't expect "Running On Karma", "Fulltime Killer" or "Time and Tide". Hey Wolf, just buy yourself an All Region DVD player. I have 4 of them. You will be happy you did.

September 21, 2006 South Korea does it again. Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
It is not just about J-Horror anymore. South Korea is putting out some awesome horror films as well like: "Arang", "Ryung", "Cello" and "Wishing Stairs". "Apartment" is one of them. Ahn Byung Ki is one of the masters of horror. His films "Phone", "Bunshinsaba", "Nightmare" and of course "Apartment" are some of the best Asian horror films out there. He knows how to make films that scare the viewers. Many Asian countries are putting out some quality horror films; for example: Thailand with "Shutter" and "Ghost of Mae Nak", Singapore with "The Maid", The Philippines with "Sigaw" and "Feng Shui", Hong Kong with "The Eye", "The Eye 2" and "Re-cycle" (all 3 courtesy of the Pang Brothers). Japan is still making some good ones too with "Reincarnation", "One Missed Call 2", "Marebito" and "Premonition". HEY! where is "Ju-on 3"? Bottom line: "Apartment" is a must see; must buy!

September 13, 2006 Pang Brothers' masterpiece! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The gifted Pang Brothers plus the gorgeous and talented Lee Sinje equals blockbuster. If you a fan of Asian horror films like "A Tale of Two Sisters", "Shutter", "Dark Water", "One Missed Call", "Arang", "Ryeong", "Sigaw", "The Eye", "Ghost of Mae Nak", "Ringu", "Cello", "The Wig", "Ju-on", "Wishing Stairs" and many others, then you have to order this movie right now. The Pang Brothers have thrilled us with "The Eye", "The Eye 2", "Omen" and "Bangkok Haunted"; but "Re-cycle" is their masterpiece. It was shown at the Cannes Film Festival as well. A great film should take viewers on a ride. This film takes us on a ride into horror and even emotional trauma. It has everything one would want in an excellent film. The places this film takes you to are breathtaking and amazing.. MUST SEE! MUST BUY!
