Pak-hung, who comes from a virtuous family, is ready to help and agrees to a false marriage with Yuk-luen. In a battle between the Chiu and Cho Kingdoms, Pak-hung is killed and everyone in the Cho Kingdom believes that Sing-wah was the murderer. Sixteen years later, Yuk-luen's daughter, Siu-luen, volunteers to join the army to avenge her father. Knowing that Siu-luen is his own daughter, Sing-wah lets her capture him. Siu-luen insulted him and wants to offer his head to Pak-hung. When Siu-luen learns of her mother's secret visit to Pak-hung, she condemns her. Yuk-luen tells her the truth, supported by the witness, her father-in-law Hong-fook, and the letter written in blood. Siu-luen finally learns that she has wronged her own parents. Then the Chiu troops come to try and rescue Sing-wah. King Cho loses the battle and is beheaded.
