Backyard Sports Baseball 2007 (US Version) GameCube

The backyard sports kids return to play ball in Atari's Backyard Sports Baseball 2007 for the Game Cube. The game includes all of the great humor and craziness that players have come to expect from the backyard series, including kid versions of some of the biggest names in the Major League. Gamers can create their own team from the backyard kids and the kid versions of the pros. These pros include Alex Rodriguez, Carlos Delgado, Alfonso Soriano, Eric Gagne, Pedro Martinez, Vladamir Guerrero, and Ichiro. The game also has extra unlockable players, like Sammy Sosa and Jim Thorne, as well as all 30 Major League Baseball logos.

Backyard Sports Baseball 2007 includes several different modes of play, including quick games, seasons, home run challenges, and a fielder's challenge. Players can select which field they play on and even adjust some rules and options. Season play also includes full stats and standings, allowing players to get an idea of where each of their players stands in relation to the others. Of course, no Backyard game would be complete without those wacky power ups that players can grab on the field. These power ups grant the player special abilities that can quickly turn the tide of any game. Baseball fans who like a little craziness in their game will love Backyard Sports Baseball 2007. It's not meant to be the most realistic baseball recreation. It's just pure baseball fun, Backyard style.
