　　在伊朗東南及巴基斯坦邊界地區BUDAKS是對長途跋涉到邊界去攜帶物品走私販賣，以微薄的收入過生活的大人小孩通稱。父親在沙漠中掘井想找水源，卻不小心因為坑洞蹋陷，而被活埋身亡，留下了兩個年幼的兒女，這對兄妹被奴販子誘拐而離開村莊，哥哥被賣給了走私販，妹妹則被帶往巴基斯坦，與家人失去連絡。哥哥和其他少年常去巴基斯坦走物品回來銷售，因而和一位巴基斯坦當地的男孩成為好朋友，也藉由他的幫助，經過千辛萬苦，終於找回了離散多年的妹妹。
