Another great work by Fujisawa Toru
| Going back even further than SJG, this single volume, weighing in at around 500 pages, is another interesting piece of Onizuka and Ryuji's background, and deals with their first meeting aged 14. The art is about the same as in GTO, but the story, given primarily to developing the young characters in the space of one book, is perhaps not as exciting as SJG or GTO. That said, this is essential reading for fans of the series and a useful explanation of Eikichi and Ryuji's later adventures and how they came to be friends. |
