Anthony Wong (The Untold Story, Infernal Affairs) delivers a powerful performance in the award-winning cop action drama Beast Cops! Anthony Wong is Tung, a police officer who operates with a grey view of the triad underworld. He's in bed with the local triads led by Brother Fai (the official triad actor, Roy Cheung), who keep the Hong Kong streets running day and night, and do a few favors for their favorite two-faced cop at the same time. However, things change when Fai goes on the run, leaving his ambitious lieutenant Pushy Pin (Patrick Tam) in his stead. Tung also gets a new partner: Mike Cheung (Michael Wong), whose by-the-book morality intrudes on Tung's world. Are morality and justice mutually exclusive or inseparably intertwined, and can a dirty cop still be a good one?

Beast Cops was awarded with numerous critics awards, including Best Picture, Best Director (for co-directors Gordon Chan and Dante Lam), Best Supporting Actor (Patrick Tam), and Best Screenplay at the 18th Annual Hong Kong Film Awards. However, nothing measures up to Anthony Wong's tour-de-force performance, which mixes humor, heartbreak, humanity, and some explosive, over-the-top outrage. You cant go Wong... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Anthony Wongs' character study, of a cop who walks a fine line with the Triads, earned him the Best HK Actor Award. Print transfer is nice and clean. Subs are excellent, although they fly by quickly at times.This is a moderately paced film, but Wongs' over the top performance at the end, is worth the price of admission. Highly recommended!

I bought this but left it sitting on my shelf for the longest time because it looked like another poor action movie that I had been seeing too many of lately. Finally I watched it when there was nothing else and wow was I suprised! It might seem slow at first but once you get to know the characters this movie really pulls through. Action was awesome towards the end and Anthony Wong was the best here. You definately have to see it!

I love the theme song to the movie and the dance theme songs. I send a money order for this CD and never recieved it nor my refund. So, I bought it Canada. Good Soundtrack
