In 2011, Korean male pop group had a phenomenal debut year in Japan, and 2012 is about to get even bigger. Before they perform six concerts over six consecutive days at the Nippon Budokan, the boys are releasing Beautiful, their first single of 2012. The high-energy dance song is already getting plenty of attention as an advertising theme song and on Japanese mobile download charts. The single also includes Kimi ga Ireba as B-side track.

This edition comes with a bonus DVD containing two versions of the Beautiful music video and a trading card (one randomly chosen from seven available styles).

Although I was initially intending to purchase the Hong Kong version for the additional photobook and different jacket, but I accidentally purchased this one. I was devastated until I received it in my package and discovered that there was a photocard, which was a pleasant surprise :) also, although I preferred the other jacket cover, I now plan on collecting all of them, so accidentally getting this version didn't really harm my plan. Regardless of the covers and bonuses, this album/single is amazing. I, personally, have enjoyed all of 2PM's Japanese single releases, so far, and this one has not disappointed me. I like the new romantic concept of the boys, and the title track is extremely catchy, with a unique dance that fits the romantic theme of the song. The second track is an excellent addition to the single, making it even more worth purchasing, as I liked it after just the first listen, and also displays Junho's composition skills. Overall, this was an excellent purchase, and I intend to purchase it again (in different versions).
