2003年1月〜3月にフジテレビ系で放送された、松嶋菜々子＆福山雅治主演によるコメディータッチのラブストーリー。視聴率が低迷するニュース番組のプロデューサーとしてヘッドハンティングされた米テレビ記者出身のスーパーキャリアウーマンと、バラエティ番組出身のチャラチャラした制作マンがぶつかり合いながらも、時に協力し、やがて互いの理解を深めてゆくまでをオシャレに描いている。渡辺いっけい、八嶋智人、佐々木蔵之介、深浦加奈子ら脇を固める個性的な俳優陣の好演も光り、ラブストーリーとしてだけでなく、やる気の失せていた番組チームが生まれ変わるドラマとしても楽しむことが出来る。松嶋菜々子演じるキャリアウーマン・鷹宮真の華麗なファッションと、福山雅治の3枚目ぶりも大きな見どころとなっている。
真は2年ぶりに父親の秀一と会い、3月いっぱいで番組が打ち切りになりJBCを辞めることを報告する。一方、打ち切りが決定した「イヴニングニュース」のスタッフたちは腑抜け状態。そんな折、連続放火事件が発生。永瀬は放火が相次ぐ住宅街を張り込み、放火犯を目撃するが…。

Highly recommend Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

I was hooked from episode 1 - just can't stop til I finish the series. Extremely touching story, great acting, beautiful actor and actress, great photography. Very humurous too. I also like the way MN and FM hide their feelings for each other. The ending is a bit disappointing as I had wanted them to stay together....
Highly recommend for everyone....even for those who don't usually like Japanese dramas. This one is great.....
