Wong Ka Kui, the front man of Beyond has left us for 16 years already, but his spirit and legacy live on in our hearts. A musical dedicated to the legendary rocker and his band was staged at the Jockey Club Auditorium in Hong Kong Polytechnic University in September 2008 with a cast consisting of Hong Kong pop artists Kenny Kwan, Louis Cheung, Macy Chan, Charmaine Fong, and Juicyning. Scripted by Wong Wing Sze (Beyond Our Ken), the musical tells the touching stories spanning 15 years of a group of young people who formed a rock band. Beyond's classic numbers are featured throughout the musical, including "Vast Oceans, Empty Skies", "Goodbye My Dreams", "Footprints of Yesterday", "No More Hesitations", "Early Train", and "Days of Silence".
