Much too big and heavy

I bought this without knowing the dimensions (no info in the product description) and it is MUCH bigger than I thought and prefer. It comes in a thick paper box. The chain is c.76cm (30in) long and the badge is c.8cm (3 1/8in) x 5.5cm (2 1/8in) so it is huge and heavy. On the back there is engraving of Black & White in both English and Chinese (traditional) horizontally across and a large vertical pin so you can attach it to your clothing - but the pin comes loose easily and the weight might damage your clothing. The front is shiny and appears plated: I don't know if it tarnishes with time. Due to its size and weight I'm not sure if I will wear it much but it will do as a memorabilia of the TV series if I can think of a good place to hang it or put it. Note if you bend forward while wearing it - towards the table or when you're holding a cup for example - it will tend to bang against whatever is in front. |
